I committed to wearing tight braids and wigs for two years straight . never wore my natural hair out for a break and my edges paid the price. But now I committed to wearing my natural hair in mini twists until my edges grow back. but even when they grow back I will not be wearing wigs and tight styles ever again.

I have been natural for about 10 years. I still been a journey. I don’t think my hair has grown, but then again I have not been too kind to it. I overused chemicals (dyes) every chance I got, de tangle hair dry and combing Knots out along well my hair. I just started watching your videos to learn how to start taking better care of my hair. Thank you for all the great information, it is much appreciated.

Another word is 'over manipulating of the edges and hair'. I am glad and happy that you got your edges back. For me, we are not meant to touch our edges with foreign products. I sew down my frontal instead of glue. You must have seen some tutorials on that. It helps your edges breathe. Thanks for the tip.

Thank you for the video. Normally people recommend some useless things but this is very helpful. I’m a CNA and to get ready for work I had been wearing buns. Buns can cause a lot of tension and wore them pretty much daily. On top of that i have been dealing with some stress and both my baby hair and my edge of hair have thinned out significant enough to notice. I stopped wearing buns but now i needed something to put on my hair. I’m going to try the hair fertilizer and biotin. 😘

Yea forget hair salons I ditched mine in December, I thought she really knew my hair until she wouldn't listen to me and I had a relaxer situation. They know styles but they don't have all the knowledge you would think. Won't know the consequences of what damage can be done if it too tight, too much colouring, how or when to relax etc. I'm still a bit lazy on my hair but thank God I found someone who lives near me who has been helping me a lot (She's a guru, coach, angel etc lol) some things I also realised myself 'time to stop doing that!
