These are great, so interesting! My best celebrity encounter was Carol Burnett. Absolutely THE NICEST person. Just like you'd imagine her. I wrote her a letter that had my address and phone number on the paper. She called me after reading it. CALLED A FAN! And at least then she'd do it regularly, call fans if they provided a phone number. I mentioned I was going to her show a few months later and she put me on her list to come backstage and meet her in person. Wonderful experience. Top notch human being. Luckily I haven't met any other celebrities to have had a bad experience! LOL

Yay! I get a story time during my lunch break at work. I think Justin has been so overwhelmed with things in his life but the heart of who he is started in the church with a single mother. He has returned to his faith and I really think he tries his best to be a good person and he definitely has a strong faith that he relies on. I remember laughing at Letterman embarrassing him and now I just think how shallow of me. He was 16 and making mistakes in a life lived out in front of the world. I am sorry I didn't give him grace cuz I agree totally...I think he tries hard to do the right thing. I am pulling for him! Thanks for the story time. Ur the best story teller ever.

Shelly Winters was so right you are doing exactly what you are supposed to do (entertain). Shout out to all the celebrities that try and remember to treat their fans when possible with respect at least and in some cases making our day. Three Peat! Another captivating video. Sometimes even if you pay for a meet and greet and use of Cameo is worth it to meet some of your favorite entertainers or to have them answer a question as they have provided so much enjoyment in our lives.

I love the Chris Paul part. Him and I grew up in the same neighborhood and went to high school together. His parents and older brother are just as down home as him. Fun fact about Chris- he wanted to build a small bball court in his backyard so one day me and my family were leaving the neighborhood and we saw Chris at a table selling Krispy crème donuts to make money for it, and of course my dad bought a dozen and gave more money to support of course. Your interactions are spot on, and of Danny McBride. I think it’s also to do with our southern hospitality❤ my aunt and uncle also live in Memphis and one day my uncle was on his way to work and Elvis pulls up in one of his classic cars at the stop light. My uncle is running late and mad that Elvis of all legends is beside him with an entourage🤣 he looked over to Elvis and got that classic Elvis smile( I’m so jealous) he didn’t feel the same haha. I love your channel and your lady is so gorgeous❤️🤙🏽

I grew up being his fan (literally 2010, 2011, long time ago), and even with all the bad things the media had to say about a young man growing in front of the world, I always had a good feeling about him, and even tho I do not follow his career as I used to, he is one of the artists I respect the most in this era!

Rowdy Roddy Piper, that story really got to me. I never got to meet him personally, but always enjoyed watching him when he was wrestling. I really enjoyed watching him as an actor too. I saw him on a show with a psychic medium (her name escapes at the moment, but she's very well known) that apparently he had some experience with a haunting. From watching that show, I can completely understand what you meant about him having that prophetic sort of vibe about him. You can tell he was a very interesting man with a big heart. He's truly missed. A little thing about Justin Bieber, I really thing the recording company was trying to promote that bad boy image. I really do think it was more hype than truth. Thanks Jordan. I know you have a lot more content to get to, but I'm really enjoying hearing your war stories. Just as interesting if not more interesting than all the cool places you visit. 🥰

So glad Roddy was the kind of soul I always suspected him to be. I loved his heel days in the WWF. He wrote those awesome one liners. John Carpenter hand picked him for They Live because of his life story. Definitely a very interesting person. Very underappreciated as an actor. Still love Hell Comes to Frogtown.

I can vouch for Roddy Piper. I met him at a horror convention in Atlanta, Georgia in early 2014 and when I walked up to him, he just immediately starting talking to me, like he was someone I knew. He signed my Blu-Ray of They Live, writing, "No more bubblegum," and we talked about John Carpenter and the like. He was so cool, and while I was never a wrestling person, I thoroughly enjoyed talking with him. When I'd heard that he passed away, it hit me hard.

Wow, I'm kind of shocked and very disappointed to hear about your experience with SJP. I'm a huge Brian Setzer fan and I've met him several times. He's always been a doll. My friend had a good experience with SJP when we went to see Brian and Jim play a show in Santa Monica. I didn't see it happen, but one of his sticks rolled off the stage during the show and my friend picked it up and handed it back to Jim. When my friend was in the parking lot to head for her car to leave, a limo pulled up to her and the window rolled down and SJP handed her his drumstick and said, "I want you to have this" and he was smiling. I have a story in my scrapbook that she recounted about it. The last thing she said was..."I seldom see him smile". Interesting. I'm sorry that happened to you, Jordan. It would have been cool if he'd been up for it and you could have made a video about his club with him giving an interview. Fun to hear about your other experiences, though. Hope you will keep them coming!

Jordan, that was truly delightful. I watched all three episodes of celebrity encounters tonight, and am up for more. So when you feel like it, give us your reminiscences on a new group. It'd be great if Jah had some encounters with famous dogs or owners that you could relate...LOL! Love to see his sweet personality shining through the videos. I began working in the film industry in the mid-60s, starting out in the steno pool learning how to type up scripts plus learning the ropes of being on a large studio lot. No computers then; so everything was done on typewriters, entering copy on masters which would then be sent to the print shop for a first printing on white paper with different colors for subsequent script changes (pink, yellow, blue and green, as I recall). I did that for two weeks and then was assigned to work for a contract writer, then producers and eventually casting. It'd be hard to remember all the actors and actresses I worked with or met in passing...many hundreds, both bit players and stars plus those who became stars. And because local sports stars would often come into our offices with their agents looking for work in the sport off-season, I met a lot of them, too...like Maury Wills, Wes Parker of the Dodgers, and Frank Robinson, then of the Baltimore Orioles. Over the years since that time I worked at several studios and met more writers and film industry folk. There were a few unfavorable working experiences and meetings with celebs, but most of them were positive and some became friends. Fun remembrances.

He was appearing on stage with Bobby Darin. I spoke with him after the performance in the hotel lobby and asked him if I could get Bobby’s autograph. Mr. Burns quipped, “Wouldn’t you know she’d ask about the kid!” Everyone laughed and I turned 20 shades of red! I remember the smoke from his cigar, the beautiful be-feathered show girls standing around him. I was 15.

One of the original sets of the Trailer Park Boys was actually up the street right before the street I lived on in Nova Scotia. It was in a field by the water, next to an abandoned hospital I believe. The set was one street with trailers that were mostly empty but we did find some props, like one of Bubbles guitars and other stuff, it was fun just looking! There was a security guard but he was cool. Hope to meet them one day!

I can almost guarantee that Jordan the Lion has more dedicated, loyal fans than that Slim Jim guy ever had. I kinda hope that gets back to him.

Eastbound and Down’s character, Kenny Powers, is an ironic parallel to my husband who played MLB for the NYMets in the 90’s. Love LOVED that series so much.

@@DazewithJordantheLion I didn’t mean literally. I just meant the parallels are ironic and hilarious .
