Next time when the consignment arrives and you are transporting within Ghana , do not give the police impression that they were imported. Tell them you bought them from a farm in Accra .. if possible generate an invoice to prove that .. The poverty mentality in Africa is that , you must be rich to have imported goats , so they want thier share of your “wealth “ Africa is a difficult business terrain , try to navigate by decoding the mentality..

Is not every Police Officer who is intelligent in Ghana. Once u have vertinary paper and l think way bill or so u should be allowed to pass any Police barrier in Ghana. Moreover if u encounter any difficulty on the way whiles having all this document. Pls exercise little patient with our Police in the road. Some don’t know why they are there. They will finally allow u to go once u are patient u will definitely be allow to go . But incase this get worse pls try and contact the the Senior Police Officer the said Officer works with.
