Great haul! I agree about how some of the employees at Uptown are so young! I’m 40 and I feel so self-conscious going in with totes to sell because I feel they look at me like I’m a grandma 😂!

Thank you. Ha oh for sure! My uptown is high school and college students, and I feel so disoriented and uncool when I see what they’re wearing and buying for the store.

@@MaddyMissimo I know! I was there on Saturday and the girl working had on a crop top. It’s like 30 degrees in Missouri. I wanted to say “Aren’t you cold?!”. I guess I am like a grandma lol.

thats how all of my consignment stores are here. I don't even want to go. I feel like they are talking about me lol..They staff hang out at the desk and are always huddled and I did hear them talking about resellers(not in a bad way just business talk) but they are all high school kids and the store is always empty but I do find some gems when I do go.

Thanks for replying. I’ve been to Dallas driving there from Kansas City to visit a friend in the hospital. I thought I was gonna die. I don’t know how you guys manage the traffic and people who have no respect for anyone else, like there is no tomorrow. I couldn’t wait to come home. I love the city, but I will never ever drive there again..

@@Makeitcountflips ha I totally understand! Downtown Dallas is stressful with all of the traffic and one ways. Fortunately I live in the suburbs where it is significantly less crowded and stressful on the roads.

I’m sure the buy sell trade store wants clean clothes, but do you take the wrinkles out and fold the clothes to help sell them to the store?

I don't take the wrinkles out, but I do fold the items neatly when selling to the BTS trade store.
