Thank you for letting us peak into your journaling, and thank you for the Jung and Guilllermo del Toro references.

I loved this! And seeing how you completely *ignored* the dates on that out-of-date planner was inspirational. Thanks for turning me onto Lynda Barry's books, and the Guillermo del Toro reference.❤ Also, I just subscribed.😊

I love this so much. I also like to use the moleskine dailies as notebooks.

We have so much in common! I use my creative Moleskine in similar ways (less drawings), I’ve journaled this way for decades - snippets of life, conversations heard….. I also own Jung’s Red Book (& the Lynda Barry one), and Spanish is my Mother Tongue. Although I’m in U.K. and Day of the Dead is not directly from my country of birth, I added it to our lives when my child was born. It’s one of my favourite days (we include Dia de los Inocentes) Glad you popped up in my feed. 😊

I also became more involved with Day of the Dead after my kid was born as a way to honor our grandparents. I'm glad you liked the video ☺

My sister kept books over the years where she just opened the book, found an empty spot, and started writing or doodling or taping in stuff she came across. I always admired her ability to do that. My notebooks, even for brain dumping, are still so organized. It's hard for me to allow myself the freedom to go off the grid, literally.

I get what you mean. I guess that is why it worked so well for me to use an outdated planner. Using it felt like "going off the grid" as it was already "expired" in a way 😅

What was the name of the sketchbook you showcase in the beginning? Fawn’s Labyrinth? I can’t seem to find it. It looks stunning!

The cover is inspired by the movie Fawn's Labyrinth. But it is from Titan Books. Here is a link from Amazon: a.co/d/f6d7D4g
