adding the cube after deleting the cube means you've reached true blender enlightenment
@Vansh00100 Жыл бұрын
Hey blank! I hope you're reading this. You don't need to do weight painting for bending arms. Just go to the edit mode and add vertices/edges on the mesh from where you want it to bend. The more vertices/edges, the smoother the bend is gonna be. Takes not more than 2 minutes.

i know an alternative way to animate blank's face it is something called an Alpha channel. Alpha channels are like flat planes as a transparent mesh with a texture applied to the front. (it's an option if you want to change the facal look)

2:27 I felt the same way with Photoshop until I finally took a course and started from the absolute beginning and not trying to do the "sexy" stuff like blend/masks. start with the fundamental tools and keep learning and iterating. now any program doesn't scare me it might be overwhelming but I don't have the " I Can't " function enabled. so a long winded thanks for this video because I always looked at character modeling as something I can't tackle.

@funkyn1 Жыл бұрын
I feel your pain with weight painting but I learned recently when messing around in blender that you can weight paint by assigning vertex groups to points in edit mode it will be fully weighted but you can just use the blur tool in weight paint mode to smooth it out a bit hope that helps if you ever need to make a model and weight it again.

Exactly happening with me, opening blender making some random stuff and close in 10 min. I am switching from 3ds max, blender is very fast and beat max in every aspect when you want to make a project from scratch but as all available models, shaders and tutorials are from 3ds max especially for archviz so it is a very hard switch, trying for 2 years.
