At the start of December, I had an A0/A1 level of Spanish - I didn’t get the grammar at all and my vocabulary sucked; I only knew a few simple phrases and words. I probably knew about 140 words at most thanks to Duolingo. From then and now, there was at least one break (a little over a month), but overall I would say I had 3 months of daily studies. I’m currently about B1, B2 if you count grammar understanding. I hope to keep improving and to actually get to B2 someday. I would love to be able to freely have any conversation in Spanish without any errors and understand everything I read in the language.

In terms of watching series I think its better to watch with subtitles of the language you want to learn. Even series/movies on your language put with the subtitles of the language you want to learn. Vídeos on youtube there are extensions to add subtitles. It helps me to learn polish specially about the cases and vocabulary. Also, in terms of gramar, I tend to put more pressure on learning the most verbs possible on 1st person rather than going for all forms in the beginning. How the verb changes most of the times is the same so once you memorize how it changes you already know most of the most used verbs so then its just changing the person you need to use the verb in. I noticed that when using this method is a lot much faster to memorize the verbs. About Google Translate: never use it to learn portuguese from Portugal 🤣

Oh you learn Polish 🤩🇵🇱 Check my instagram and youtube I teach Polish too! In general I totally agree about first person and google translate - I was using it in the beginning to get context. Most of the translations there are wrong. But it helps with context and once you have it corrected by a native - you learn from mistakes 💜 Good luck on your studying, we can do it ✨
