Thank you for posting this. I am currently in tutorial hell right now and trying to find the motivation to code consistently. I appreciate content like this because it shows me im not the only one. Thanks again man.

Tutorial hell : Do practice what you study on tutorial, Make project on the that concept (Google it) , Coding consistently means you are doing real coding Only watching tutorials means i think it is not even 1 percent when you practice it means write code only way to coding is writing code and slightly you will improve day by day-- I am telling this from my experience not by thinking-- hope this helps

Stop watching video and start building any one project from end to end that is frontend, backend and database or frontend with firebase or AWS services ( if no backend ). I wasted 6 months watching a video tutorial. Now I just read Docs, use chat GPT and build one project fullstack. And don't copy paste code from GPT. Tell it to explain and then code.

I did it the exact same way as you. Javascript really didn't click for me. It was taking it's sweet time to come to me. But one day, it all washed over me like an awesome wave and I swear it felt amazing. It's still a process but I can confidently understand and read code in JS. Writing code requires assistance for me. I'll get there

It's kinda strange sometimes youtube 'Algo' works for you in odd ways. I am taking a "React" Crash course, and your video appear in suggestions and I clicked on it watched it till the end, and it all sound like a perfect story on how a self taught developer made, It seems like you can make a Road map video for people like me who are figuring out their way to become a self-taught software developer. It would really help. Pardon my English ,not my mother tongue.

In general there's pretty much no work for junior developers as for the last 2-3 years there was a lot of layoffs in all companies around the globe. Most of the companies are hiring mid+ devs (>3-4years exp.) while all new people who want to start as juniors have very difficult time because they compete with thousands of people for a single open junior position. IT market is in very bad shape comparing to how it looked like 10 years ago (they would hire anyone who knows anything about programming). If nothing bad happens, probably in the next 10 years IT market will get back to the same situation but right now it's rough for junior devs

Was react easy like html css and little knowledge in js...?
@KristersCodeАй бұрын
@@lowEndAppsAndGames react has its own layers of complexities, the more knowlage in js you have the better you will be able to use it. For me, it was easier to use React than vanilla JS. With React’s abstractions, it simplifies many of the things that would be more complicated to manage in vanilla JS. But it can be different for each developer

Coding is like playing Soduko or any deep Puzzle game. It helps tickle your brain to push through challenges. For me, I started learning to code because of my start-up plans. Don't discourage people. There would be more jobs in years to come trust me. The only challenge would be that the the job market for devs would not be as lucrative as it used to be due to the increase in the supply of talents. One love bro ❤

Why did this trend start? It's totally unfair to those who spend four years of their life and money to earn a degree. No one can practice on their own and become a doctor or engineer. Please don't undervalue the importance of a computer science degree.
