Same thing happened to me I finally met a guy who treated me so good & vice versa, we got along together just like two peas n one pod. Talk about true love. He left one day to go take care of some business in Montana got into a train wreck and passed. I was so overwrought with grief for such a long time. Unfortunately christ has never brought me another man like my Robert, I miss him everyday of my life & would give just about anything if he was still here on earth with me. So Destene you're really blessed to have a sweet guy like Brandon 2 share your life with, some of us out here who've had real love in our life aren't so lucky or blessed 2 find it a second time around. Well am really sorry about that okay 😒☹️and I know how it feels to be lonely without our love ones, we've all lost our love ones in death one way or the other, either a spouse, child, family members, or a true friend that meant the world to us, such is life I understand how you feel but life must move on because death is inevitable no matter how hard we try! i know you mean well, but there is no "appropriate" amount of time to grieve. everyone is different and not everyone has the same social support or other factors in their life. many people can grieve for years and are given a hard time for it by the people around them. some people get over grief very quickly like I did, and that's okay too. there's no formula for grief.

@@wge621 I will say that I will say is that I disagree with many ppl on the idea of having to fully heal before you marry...for some people it takes 10 years to heal from something. I feel like as long as your working on yourself, and your wounds don't damage the relationship it should be fine. It is beautiful to have someone come in your life when your in the final stages of healing. People say to heal completely before you marry but it also puts pressure on the person and makes them feel unworthy to marry. In a sense it's like telling someone to become perfect. It's beautiful to have a partner walk with you in the final stages of healing....I personally want to know that compassionate side of my future one, I want to know how he will treat me if he meets me while I'm still healing.....If I arrived whole that would be great but I want to discover that aspect of him and say for a fact that he didn't mind my wounds..... especially ones that were inflicted in me growing up in which I had no control

My 1st husband past away just one year before your first love , and we also were together since I was 14, we met really young and he was diagnosed with cancer just before our wedding, we were able to celebrate 1 year of marriage and 23 days after he passed away. I know your pain and what you felt. 7 years later I also found love again and God is always at the Center of our relationship. I wish you a life full of happiness 😘

Sadly I can relate. I was 21 years old when I was widowed. I had married my high school sweetheart as well. We were only married three months before he was tragically killed. It’s been 10 years ago now. Therapy was vital for me and I recommend seeking counsel for anyone experiencing or has experienced anything traumatic. For two years now, I’m comfortable with sharing this story of my life and it has helped many who’ve I crossed paths with. I applaud your courage for sharing your story. If you read through your comments you will see you’ve helped others as well. ♥️

Abuse survivor here with severe PTSD. Your channel has been helping me see that healthy relationships are possible. Thank you for the advice of healing before getting into another relationship. I'm working on getting my life together & trusting God with the rest. It's scary, though, wondering if the PTSD will ever subside enough to not hurt my next boyfriend. But also, like you said, it's part of my story, something that changed me, & I need someone who'll respect my scars.
@jennifermartinez7293

So happy for you from one woman to another! I also expressed PTSD and can relate very briefly from that connection point. If it helps, I was able to overcome it by exposing myself to my triggers, working through them in therapy with CBT and once desensitizing myself to them, gradually creating new memories related to them. It’s a very difficult process so keep having compassion! I also have a fear of bringing the past into my next relationship. What has helped me here is having compassion, keeping your therapist around and making a plan in case you notice a ‘relapse’ to get back on track. I’m happy to share that when I started having ‘relapses’, my experience was that they weren’t as severe by even 75% and I was able to get back on track with the help of my therapist. Took me about 2 years to get to this point with lots of trial and error, but gradual improvement over time. Have faith and you got this! ❤️

I will say to anyone who has lost a loved one weather it may be a parent, child, spouse, partner, friend or fiance. Death is final and do call up on GOD and ask him to help you get thru this part of your life. It helped me go thru my mom's passing. I will say you will think about that person and cry in places you wouldn't think why is this happening. Just understand the grieving and loss of a person has it's on time for each person. But as time goes on just remember the Good time's you had with that person. Concertrating on the bad won't help you heal. Because we all have something that went wrong in relationships. Just be happy for the time you have shared with that other human being. Think of those things that made you laugh about the person that will really help you. Laughter is the best medicine to help you heal. Just learn to Love and laugh will help you thru the tough times. Good luck in your life and live your best life helping people that also helps with living in this world 🌎.

Last March it returned and my mate of ten years died so I've been in a dark place for a long time. I'm trying to come out of it but doors keep closing and I'm alone. It's been two years since he died. I've been in the place where I don't feel like bathing or washing dishes I just lay in the bed. Acknowledge what you feel no matter how sad or dark it may be. Write it down, find little things that brings you joy. They say it’s always beauty in the struggle. It's been a couple of years ago but I still can't move on. My heart still breaks everytime I wake up and realize I'm in a whole new place and he is not beside me. 💔. I don't want to ever love again. I'm emotionally detached from love. But seeing this maybe just maybe makes me think could there be another love that is meant for me.. I just can't picture myself open enough to love again. Idk.. Your husband is such a blessing and you are such a sweetheart. I wish you guys so many more years to love each other. May you guys be filled with so much love and light and peace for the rest of your lives. 🙏🏽💙🖤 Also we had twin boys and they were still born. I went into labor at 8 in a half months and they were born dead. My fiance was my rock and who I leaned on every day while mourning them . Ughhh this breaks my heart all over again. I don't like talking about it but hearing you just now made me want to share my story with you. My only comfort is knowing that he is with our twin baby boys waiting for me one day... I lost my fiancé on Friday 12/30 He was killed in a car accident on his way home from work the day before our NYE 1 year engagement anniversary! We had plans to celebrate and then marry in a few months! My dress is hanging in the closet 😢.My fiancé was telling me on Christmas it’s time to let that go and not to be afraid God was going to bless me immensely very soon! We shared you guys vids all the time he reminds me of him in how much he loves you. What a way to bring in the new year my heart is shattered . I’m trying to take each breath at a time and moment by moment. He was so excited I started on my art work again as we just got our first home and he picked this home because it has a studio for me downstairs now he’s Gone ! I’m in shock I don’t know if I will be able to live here anymore because of his death and feeling the essence in the home and considering finances. I’m pissed because we had so many blessings and now I’m not even sure especially since one of our dreams of marriage was happening very soon. I’m just trying to wake up from this nightmare . for so long my story was mourning, I lost my mother and baby than I met this wonderful gift of a human being and He’s gone. He ministered to me and so many people I realize I had to share my time with him and those he helped. He was my best friend I’ll never take this ring off . A mentor Artist has reached out to me offering time to spend together and to do some work. My hope Is that I can look back and understand why I feel so lost and my mind spinning . Your testimony i so relatable thank you for letting me ramble off I really needed to get this off my chest

I lost my baby brother to a motorcycle accident 3 years ago. He left behind a wife and 4 kids. He was an amazing father, brother, and son. Just an awesome person and a great friend to so many. Even tho it was my brother I know your pain of sudden loss. My brother started his own business and gave ex-offenders jobs. He made them believe that they could turn their lives around and be hard working productive members of society and they did. I applaud you for allowing yourself to grieve properly. Your husbands unconditional love and support is awesome. God bless you both

I'm 23 now and I've been with my boyfriend for 7 years, I can't imagine losing him the way you lost your fiancé. Your strength is incredible, the scripture is true whatever you lose God will multiply it, and I see that in your marriage with Brandon. Thank you for sharing ❤️✨

Just today I shared some personal things with my boyfriend. And he held me and told me I can tell him anything and everything, he doesn’t want me to be in pain but if I need to tell him I can always tell him! I’ve never had that before! I’m grateful! I appreciate watching you too because you have the same thing. This is so amazing and may God be with you both.

God please continue to bless this couple and couples like this that genuinely love each other. Happy she was able to push through and meet someone that is supportive and funny loving to her. Her story bought tears to my eyes, and I pray that anyone else going through a similar situation pushs through as well and finds love again as well. God bless 🙌🏾 🙏🏾 ❤️

This is absolutely one of the most beautiful and sincerest testimonies from a couple I’ve ever seen. Thank you both for showing how a couple can talk openly about past relationships and traumas respectfully with each other. I don’t personally know either of you but from what I see in your videos, you two LOVE EACH OTHER!!!! I am truly cheering for your relationship to be blessed and covered by God/ The Blood of Jesus!!!!
