Well made guide. If I can add 2 t hings that are a good bonus. First, in Spires of Arak, make sure to open the second quest hub and select the xp bonus building. The 20% bonus on top of other buffs will make a big difference. Second, BFA invasions do give a 10% xp bonus so if you do them and then hold the buff for timewalking it makes that part just a little faster. A bonus point is that if you do this process with a friend that is a well geared tank, Freehold carries are still very fast and efficient.

I think you missed on one important factor many people forget: The PVP trinkets you can earn in Stranglethorn and at the Darkmoon Faire. The first one can be easily farmed over the years because most of the time you are literally alone there (50%) and the second one needs preparation but it's worth it, though. Both grand you 100% more EXP to the already applied bonis when you're in a BG. I leveled my priest with it between 111-120 and it was way faster than leveling. Just make sure you collect the collectible treasures in BfA. I had them during the 15th anniversary event in Korrak's Revenge and I made LV111-115 in one (!) BG back then, most of the quests giving each over 125k exp when I remember correctly. Winning gave two levels as well. But back to the actual topic, it is worth getting the bg trinkets just for having an alternative level method during BfA.
@KrakenLatte4 жыл бұрын

Great video! I learned a few things I am going to try for my next alt. A few things you may want to look at the next time you level to see if they are a speed increase: 1) In Gorgrond there are 8 special mobs for the Gorgrond Monster Hunter achievement. Each one drops a quest item so if you have a friend that can one shot them after you tap them it is easy xp. I usually get to 92, do all the map objectives to 99% kill the 8 mobs, use an xp potion, turn in the quests, and finish the 1% on all the map objectives and it usually gives me a bunch of lvs. 2) You can get BFA xp from island expeditions (if you can tolerate them) and having a beastmode friend pull the island and squash it gets them done pretty quick. Try them out, not sure if they are speed increase or not. Thanks again for the video. I am always trying to find new ways to make this efficient. Vulpera heritage armor, here I come!
@KrakenLatte4 жыл бұрын
Hey! Tried killing those special mobs for the quests, but it looks like they only drop if you've opened Gorgrond's garrison. :/ Other than that, your method works fine. :D

I love this thank you for taking the time to make detailed guides! A small but probably useful tip (sorry if you mentioned this and i missed it) the heirloom vendors now sell toys (if you buy one for alliance it will give you the horde version as well and vice versa) that give you the flight paths for Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor making it A LOT easier to travel as these can be used right at level one and gives you many fps for both of the classic continents.

Thank you for the guide :) I leveled 2 Chars during the Alterac Valley Event. I leveld a Warrior in just a few days from lvl 60 to 120 , got 1.5 to 2 levels per run, which needed like 20 - 30 minutes without Exp-Buffs (I played only a few runs per day) and a Deathknight from 60 - 93 and then the event was over :(
@jamesf28114 жыл бұрын
Great advice! I am surprised there is no love for Hillsbrad Foothills. That place is the bomb for all my allied race alts. (I have a fox problem!). Before the double XP and the party sync patch but with most heirlooms I could get from 20-28 really quickly and then head over to Stone Talon Mtns to get to 30. Now with double XP I can get from 20 to 29-31 just in Hillsbrad, questing up to Tauren Mill. There are a lot of quests around Tauren Mill but the clumping gets sloppier and there is a roaming Boss mob that will wreck lowb groups of 3 or less. (I am sure that you can duo it but nobody wants to be that coordinated at below 60 these days) As mentioned above I really enjoy Stone Talon Mtns too. The quest clumping is good despite the total quests being probably half of Hillsbrad. I will note that as you mentioned, Echoing Isles is amazing! I have not tried out the orc newb area since patch 7.3.5, so I will have to give that a go. It is a shame that Ashenvale is such a mess organizationally. It has many quests and good quest density but the quest hubs are disjointed for lack of a better descriptor.

Waited for this to level up the new races for heritage gear, one option though for the BFA leveling is if you have friends and depends how fast your group is is timewalking (when its up obviously), with full BoAs you get 1 full level per dungeon, so all you need to do is do 10 timewalking dungeons. It's SUPER fast (some dungeons are slow though like BC portal dungeon) especially if your friends are geared. Got 110-120 in like 1 hour with friends and only 1 portal dungeon with the BC timewalkers last week. If you haven't tried the timewalking leveling you should try it Kraken and see how it compares :D.

I haven't created a new from level 1 alt in I don't even know how long. But I've been kind of itching to do it lately, partly for heritage armor on the allied races. I was definitely holding off a bit waiting for this so very glad it's out! I tend to mostly stay Horde but I do have Alliance as well, so looking forward to that side too. Funny thing when you mentioned Garrisons....I took my DH to Draenor the other day to get one going aaaaannnnd I totally couldn't remember how to get things going beyond the establishing quests. It looked so different than what I'm used to that I just stared at it for a while, lol. Oh also, my really lazy leveling for alts that are at least 105 or so has been to take them to Draenor, do the menagerie & pet battle trainer dailies then to go Pandaria and do the trainer dailies/spirit trainers/beasts of fable. I also kill the Zandalari Warbringer/Warscouts as I run into them to get the rep tokens for alts. It's not the fastest but I find it fun and it keeps me from burning out on the other grindy stuff. Anyway, thanks again for the guide. I'll be watching it a few times to set up notes for myself and then will get going on some MORE alts!. :)

A note on 60-80, I have personally found it faster to utilize party sync here and do eversong, ghostlands, and starter zones again. The easiest way is to just have a trial account with a lvl 1 character you can party with. Just alt+tab every so often to keep your lvl 1 character from afk’ing out or you’re gonna have a hard time. Heck, if you need a couple levels to finish a bracket it’s VERY fast to do the party sync trick and just do the starter areas again. I’ve not tried it alliance side, but horde side it’s VERY fast.

I got a lot of alts I want to level currently, but they are all Allied Races. So my question is....Should I start this guide at level 20, because the Allied Races start at level 20? OR should I start at the beginning of the guide and go through everything? As not to mess up any quest chains or anything. Oh, and what about Allied Race starting zones? Should I do them? Or just get them later when I'm 120 and just follow this guide 100% to the T!? Thanks again for an amazing guide, and channel. I can't wait for the Alliance leveling guide!
@KrakenLatte4 жыл бұрын
For Allied races, I'd start at the 20+ section of the guide. I tried leveling a 20 in the base race starting zones, but there seems to be a quick xp drop off even though they supposedly scale up to 60. As for the allied race starting zones, they don't really get one! Just like 2ish quests to get you into Stormwind/Orgrimmar and that's it. Same with an Allied Race DK-just start in Felwood! :D
