That’s a lot of lights and a lot of work. Thanks Peter. I have a magnet installed in the ceiling for a hair light paired with a magnetic mount. A goofy ring light is the key light and a 100d is lighting up the area behind me. Looks...fine. But needs some practicals.

Amazing breakdown Peter! having a sponsorship/partnership with nanlite would be an absolute dream come true. I didn't realise the blue pavotube on the right was acting as a rim light, I thought you had a little light off to your side! Also, it actually looks really good for top down shots, I've always shot with just a keylight, never really considered adding extra lights! Good luck to everyone entering the contest! I won't be as I work in a corner of my one bed flat haha. , but can't wait to see what people post!

Really helpful seeing these perspective types of videos. So which tripod do you have mounted to the ceiling (7:45)? And if it's on the pricey side, do you have lesser-priced comparable options that you recommend that would mount to the ceiling similarly as you have?

Good afternoon. All very interesting and your equipment listening is very comprehensive. Could you tell me where you got your 'alignment mat' (for overhead shots) from please? All the so-called cutting mats are way too garish for product photography. You seem to have found one that is near perfect. Many thanks Bruce

I must say that I didn’t know a lot of stuff and I definitely underestimated lights importance when I started filming half a year ago. Just few days ago I spent all my money on aputure 120d ii and lightdome ii and OMG. Video quality never was better. Thank you for sharing your knowledge it helps a lot 🙏🏼 One question if I may. I’m saving to buy a new APSC lens (currently holding Sigma 16mm). And I’m torn which focal length to buy for product videos. Can you recommend any focal length ? 🙏🏼
