I love watching this!! I need to do more draw-overs with poses. It looks like by doing that you're getting a lot more natural posings

Your videos are very helpful. I'm rigging a 360 of my character and I was just thinking of how to push my rig with poses and I chanced on this video. Very insightful Thank you

Loving your way of working, really frees up your mind working with rigs by drawing over. Thanks for sharing, it's been very inciteful and I shall be using your techniques on my series.

At 9:17, how did you change the layering so that hair is behind everything else? I've been struggling trying to bring a hand in front of the body Also I audibly gasped when you flipped between the initial posing vs. after using the deformation tool. The difference was incredible
@fabio_gioffre11 ай бұрын
Hi! so to change the layer of something in z space I use a shortcut key. Its hold the ¨alt¨ key and press the arrow key up, to send the piece backwards or down to send the piece forwards in z space. and hahaha ya its pretty crazy the results you can get with deformers nowadays! How long have you been animating for?
@abbyjentson256311 ай бұрын
@@fabio_gioffre Yeah, what I've seen with deformers is intense! I've been animating for 4-5 years now, but I've never messed around with rigs before haha so I'm excited to learn. Thank you so much for answering my question!

@@abbyjentson2563 haha oh that's awsome! What made u make the switch to rigs? And ya anytime:)

@@fabio_gioffre Wanted to try a new technique! Esp. because puppet animation is so prevalent in the industry right now. And using rigs would let focus more on the posing and movement
@everyhighlight26238 ай бұрын
Nice work, I would like to ask what key do you press when you use those line like polylines? how do you make it appear?
@fabio_gioffre8 ай бұрын
ahh i think its called show deformers. You can set up the shortcut in the preferences section. There is also a button that does it, i think its a orange line with smaller lines running across it.

Hey.. In anmiation motion tween is good or after tweening cut the tween or make it twos.
@fabio_gioffre9 ай бұрын
Hi! ya I usually start with motion tweens, fix the movements, adjust the overlapping parts and then at the end I convert everything to twos.

Mr. Fabio What is the practicle powerfull program/software to draw cartoon background?
@fabio_gioffre2 жыл бұрын
Hi! I like to use Sketchbook, There are alot of cool brushes. I think Krita is a free program that is good. And if you know a bit of 3d blender is the best becuase u can do 3d and 2d in it.

ya you could be right. I have never tried moho but toonboom can be very complicated. There are just so many things packed in, its pretty inimidating to start out.
