How I Listen to 1400 Albums

I listen while I sleep quite a bit. I put on Netsky or SubFocus style high energy dance/dnb music and fall asleep with it on - I find it's a good way to make my brain comfortable with new albums too... if there is really something it doesn't like it will wake me up and annoy my brain otherwise for the most part, it is on repeat and with a 5 disc changer in the bedroom I can get through a lot of listening and wake up knowing there is stuff I really like or there is a track or two I don't agree with. I couldn't sleep at all with restful classical or soft mood music, doesn't work for me. I think it goes back to the old rave days and sleeping on the top of subwoofer cabinets.. music can be loud but it works for me and I fall right asleep with it on.

Hi mate, enjoying the videos keep them coming. I decided to take a leaf from your book and went charity shop hunting today, they must be better near you as the selection was rubbish! I managed to pick up a Huey Lewis and News Best of, that was it, but did find some new clothes instead 😅

Can't beat a bit of Huey Lewis tbf! Yeah I'm quite lucky round here. Although my town is drying up a bit in recent weeks so I've had to go to the closest city (Cambridge) where there is still usually a good selection.

Luckily I work from home 4 days a week. I listen to albums when I’m not on work calls. Sometimes I get 3-4 in during the day & sometimes 0 I estimate I listen to 10-15 albums a week. Mix of vinyl, CDs (FLAC) and AppleMusic I am going to track it next week now lol Fun content !

Nice! Yeah I wish I worked from home more as I'd definitely have music on when I wasn't on a call or something. Would be interesting to track, and a couple of people on here have said they do that. I'm not that organised unfortunately but I'd love to know exactly how many times I've played certain albums over the years.

I listen in the car its not bout listening day and night its bout having the album when u want to pull it out on play . I have 4500 cds myself built up over 30 yrs

Totally agree mate. I also like the fact I have stuff there for when I want it. It's a nice feeling!

I listen in very similar ways i don't commute though. I only listen to vinyl when I know my hands are gonna be clean for a bit. ☺️
