I am getting a lot of traffic to my channel from this video and just wanted to thank everyone for watching and subscribing! I really appreciate it! This isn't meant to be a technical video whatsoever and is definitely pretty ridiculous. I daily vlog, turning each day into a story of it's own in a cinematic way. This was done in a few hours after work to share how I have been living in my jeep and is not my normal vlog whatsoever. Thanks again for watching and I appreciate all the support!

Definitely be careful on the leaving out of the meats and eggs. The periods of time I mentioned are extremes and weren't the norms. If I buy raw meat I try to eat it that same day, and eggs within a few days. The meat left out for closer to 2 days was bought frozen and kept in the shade. The eggs I had for a week out definitely are a little sketchy. I don't recommend doing this just getting it out that there is some wiggle room. This is just my experience and yes there always is a possibility of getting sick. But I've also gotten food poisoning from eating a frozen pizza IMMEDIATELY after cooking it.

A few days yes,but more then that be careful. Eggs in the U.S. Go through a cleaning proses that removes a protective coating on it, unlike other countries and that's why they are refrigerated.

I traveled all over California and the Southwest for 5 months last year and camped half the time and slept across the front seat of my 2005 TJ. My gear was in the back. I didn't even bother cooking anything. Just ate cold foods. I slept in rest stops, visitor centers, pull offs, hotel parking lots, Walmart, truck stops and neighborhoods. A few parks. Only got hassled once in Carmel, CA and the cops asked me to move to the supermarket lot. You can be stealthy in a Jeep or car, unlike a camper or RV.

we keep chickens for the eggs and I learned that there is a thin film on the egg when hatched. if you don't wash that off the eggs can go for at least a month unrefrigerated
@packbadge8 жыл бұрын
Right?! We have chickens as well and everyone thinks that eggs have to be refrigerated but that is not the case. Further, you mentioned about the added natural layer of protection...yes, with eggs you are not suppose to wash them ever because then the water can help transfer bacteria through the shell and start bad things.

Yeah I've lived in my jeep for a short time a few times, it's much more difficult in a 2 door when you're tall. I'm a little over 6 foot and 200lbs and my biggest issue was that I just couldn't not sleep without getting all squished up uncomfortably. I found it much easier to carry a sleeping bag, bivy bag, and thermarest and just sleep next to/underneath the jeep but that's not always an option in winter or in sketchy areas
@Rogue.Rider07 жыл бұрын
You've got the dreaded YJ. Roughest riding machine on trails ever. My first jeep was a YJ. I had a vac line broken on the 4x4 and I climbed the biggest mountains in 2x2 thinking I was in 4x4 lol. Just to add on to the egg thing.. A lot of people have made the point that eggs aren't refrigerated in other countries and therefore you don't need to either. Eggs bought in the US must be refrigerated. It has to do with the different practices of salmonella prevention. European hens are vaccinated and therefore the inside of the egg should not have salmonella (which makes it okay to be stored at room temp) while US eggs are simply washed and refrigerated. Both methods work, but not if you don't refrigerate your eggs in the US.
