My husband fought ductal prostate cancer stage 4 like a warrior. It had went to his lung liver and brain. Chemo and radiation got it in the lung and liver but the brain was just so hard. He had whole brain radiation two different times. The doctors said we can’t cure it but we can manage it. He had the prostate removed in 2018 had radiation and was stable. In 2020 now it was spreading. We were also in Covid so we were so limited on where we could go. So much was closed down but I took him to every outside event I could find. In and out of the hospital for a host of issues caused by chemo, so many times so many transfusions. In 2021 he lost his Mobility but we kept going and he had the second course of whole brain radiation. He fought to his last breath and I lost him in Jan 2022. He never ever complained. God bless and give strength and courage to those who fight this horrible disease.

I too have stage 4 prostate cancer, has metastized into my bone, left lung, and now my liver. But this has taken nearly 10 years as I was first diagnosed in 2014. I've had all the treatments Mark has had, still getting the Lupron shots even though they stopped working a year ago. My PSA is now over 100. I'm 74 years old, was exposed to Agent Orange in Vietnam, hence the cancer. I'm doing radiation treatment on the bone which is in my spine. They go through the front to get to the back, the vertebrae in my neck. Currently my esophagus is constricted, so I'm having much difficulty swallowing. This is the second time for that. Liquid diet for now. Its obviously going to kill me eventually but my attitude is excellent because I'm not afraid to die. I've lived a life, feel good about my future no matter what. Life isn't fair but it's not fair for everyone, so we live with it as it is. I live one day at a time now, and that's all I need to focus on. Que sara, sara

As I am a diabetic person My physician asked me to do a PSA checkup test with Hemoglobin A1C .The result was a little bit high 5.54 ng/ml , and he referred me to a specialist. An MRI and a biopsy later, I discovered I was a 65 year old living with a Gleason 6 prostate cancer. I'm so grateful that my Doctor took action, knew that there was a history of prostate cancer in my family and encouraged me to do the test. I now can do active surveillance and get on with my life. Now I changed all my life style and start ketogenic diet In addition to I stop eating dairy foods and sugar and rice and and all products that feeds cancer since 3 months also I practice prolonged DRY fasting about 17 hrs for one month and i do two Psa tests one after 2 months and it was 3.54ng/ml and the other one after dry fasting and it was 2.7ng/ml . I lost about 12 KGS since 3 months That encourage me to complete fasting hoping that tumor marker will give me more good results.

I wish Mark well with his treatment, I also have stage 4 prostate cancer and am using nutrition therapy and targeted exercise programs to support my immune system in killing and opposing the spread of my cancer cells. I see my oncologist every 6 weeks for blood tests to check my PSA levels and discuss medical options he can make available to me if/when I need them. I agree with Mark that having a mental outlook that removes the anxiety and depression that usually accompany a prolonged cancer treatment is of the utmost importance. I consider myself very fortunate to have come to a very strong belief in God long before (11 years) I was diagnosed with cancer. When I go to bed at night I pray myself to sleep, talking to God about whatever is on my mind until I am totally at peace at the prospect of moving on from this life to what awaits me in the next, if it turns out that that is what God has planned for me. Most of my friends and loved ones are unbelievers and they think I'm crazy to trust in "my invisible friends" this way but this is not a problem for me at all, it makes me realise I am in a unique position to open their eyes to what it is like for someone with total faith in God to face death with peace and joy in their heart. If I can get to share my faith with just one of them, to me that will make worthwhile this whole cancer adventure I'm going through.

My father died on the 16th of May. I showed him this video early April. He lost his ability to walk due to the tumors in his spine. He lost hope at that time but wanted to live. He elected to do surgery to remove the numerous tumors in his spine. The wound on his back became infected because the hospital discharged him. He was placed in a rehab facility which he got horrible care. My father hadn't been in my life until his last few months. It was hard to see him live like this, to be bedridden but I'm glad god finally brought us together.

My name is Mark as well and I survived a rare form of testicular cancer. I love his message.. We truly don't know how strong we are until we have no choice. Sending love and good vibes to all those battling, and their families. A positive mindset and diet alone does more than most of the "medicines" i was given. Cancer is a business in America and its gotta change. We raise more money for cancer research than any other country in the world. We are being poisoned. Compare the ingredients on a bottle of ketchup in the states to ketchup from Canada. It's absolutely disgusting. They make us sick and line their pockets.. Help yourselves and loved ones to make better and healthier choices with their diets and daily habits. Doctors dont have our best interests in mind, but WE DO. I love you all and stay strong!?❤

I came across this video today. I was diagnosed with Stage IV prostate cancer two months ago. Much like you I woke up one day and knew something was wrong. It began in November and after lying around for nearly two months in pain I went to Urgent Care. They did a scan and told me they saw a mass and metastatic disease. The process began much the same as yours. I couldn’t walk and needed a walker. I couldn’t stand up without assistance. My body was shaking at times from the pain and I contemplated the end. It was all too fast. I began chemotherapy, hormone treatments, bone therapy and adjusted my diet. My cancer was in the prostate, bones and lungs. After the first chemo session I walked out saying “You will not take me, you will have to go through me” My PSA was 1690 and I had a Gleason score of 9 which was considered very aggressive. My PSA is 2.23 after two months. Your words are tremendously touching and I feel we share the same story. I have told myself I will not fail. You are bad ass! I intend to be the same. Victorious!

Diagnosed stage IV rectal cancer 15 months ago. I’ve been doing chemo for 15 months now. Finished treatment 31 today. I know where I get treated, the Drs do not hang on to you just for a paycheck. They are totally good for referring you to anything that would help you better. That’s why I chose where I’m being treated. They mix in immunotherapy as well. There is so much info on the internet and you just really don’t know who or what to trust when it comes to alternative treatments.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 Primary Peritoneal Surface Malignancy. It's so rare. It usually/always is a secondary site (metastasized from the primary site.) & so rare. This is primary. It's actually the first known case of it being primary. When it's secondary (when it's metastisized there), the life span is 11-23 months, I believe. It had metastasized to all my reproductive organs, & nearby lymph nodes. At the primary site, there was a solid tumor larger than a soccer ball. I had surgery the day after my first CT scan. I refused chemo & radiation, when at best, less than 2 years with treatment was my prognosis. It was a great hospital (UCSD-Thornton), so after 2 or 3 months at home, I requested to switch doctors, which was amazing. He sent slides of the cancer cells to tumor boards at cancer hospitals here and abroad. Yet the cancer cells remain unidentified. Deciding on a chemotherapy cocktail took some time. I had 12 rounds of chemo along with the daily radiation. I am blessed. I have 4 children and I am here with them! I've been cancer free for a number of years. I don't know many things to do proactively, except for juicing! The chemo and radiation has physically taken a lot out of me, I cannot work, but that's okay because I'm alive!! I would be so appreciative if you could share the diet the nutritionist gave you and what supplements you take! Thank you!

I read your story which was very similar to mine. I will tell it. 2020 I was having urinary issues went to a acupuncturist he did have me take a blood test and told me I have cancer. My bones started to ache also. I got a psa test it was 30. A urologist wanted to treat me I did not want any drugs so I went vegan for 6 months and herbal teas. 6 moths later I had lost 30 pds from 160 to 130. Also a active commercial fisherman. I got worst 300 psa very achey bones hard to get out of bed and could not urinate. Mass. General scanned me bones lite up like a Christmas tree. Told me not curable they saved my life started me on fimagon sent me home to Florida. Florida cancer specialists are treating me now went thru 6 rounds of chemo lupron shot every 6 months 4 hormonal pills a day. Weigh 170 walk 5 miles a day no longer on vegan diet as soon as I started eating meat and fish again I got stronger. Trust your oncologists they saved this skeptic. Thanks to them and the Lord I am alive Psa .40. Hope all men can be healed from this dreaded disease. Amen.
