I was in Cripple Creek Virginia. My Dad and I had a Wood-Mizer portable sawmill and we were sawing up some logs for a man I worked with building log houses. I was 21 years old. It was the first day I could remember not seeing any airplanes flying. We turned the radio up in the truck and would listen to the news when the mill was throttled down, listening to see if there were more attacks.

You are one of the hardest working and most honest, real people on KZbin. I have been watching since 2010, back when you used to show your face and were called Redneck Peg, then PistNbroke, back when you had videos of your huge white crew cab Ford on the big 44 inch boggers with the Dukes Of Hazard horn running through the deep mud. I never miss a video. You're the one that told it like it is about losers like 1pug life. I am not a "hater" but I get similar feelings about this channel called Gentry Trucking, I want to be wrong about it, I really do, it seriously looks like they torched their business for attention, sympathy and insurance money. It's the sort of stuff that made me stop making videos and just be thankful for what I have and not obsessed with material wealth or attention. Some guys like you do it for the right reasons in my opinion and some people are doing it for the wrong reasons. Anyways thanks for the entertainment through the years and sharing your sense of humor and mechanical adventures with us.

This was the top answer, "He lost his left leg during an accident at a cotton gin mill when he was 12, but his uncle whittled a wooden leg for him. He learned to dance with the artificial limb and it became his trademark." As I read it, I was like a cotton gin mill???? Then, I read the dancing part and knew for certain it was him. The article said it was actually about a guy named Clayton "Peg Leg" Bates who was a famous tap dancer out of the Carolinas, but I'm not buying it.
