Say, can you see By the dawn's early light What so proudly we hailed At the twilight's last gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright stars Through the perilous fight O'er the ramparts we watched Were so gallantly, yeah, streaming? And the rockets' red glare The bombs bursting in air Gave proof through the night That our flag was still there O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave 🇺🇸

Been cross country a few times in my 94 f150 300 with a 5 speed. Towed a 79 cj7 from the murder capital of the world (Chicago where I live) to sedro-wolleey Washington. I would say normal with out the letter that the gage was at. Noral. Shit like that to keep my mind right. Had no radio and and had to go thru the mountains in second at 35 freedom units. What a great trip. Your trip really reminded me why I love that little adventure in my life. Was 21 years old at the time. Of course I didn’t have issues like you. I mean come on. That old 300 is the best motor ford ever produced. Good luck bud

"You couldn't punch the smile off my face..." "I got a tear in my eye..." "I got goosebumps..." Peg... I gotta tell you, I wish more of the people that call the USA home could see it the way you do. I know you're a Canadian, but you've got more American pride than 90% of the vanilla-chai-latte drinking, man-bun having Soy-Boys living in the states. If more people had your pride in this amazing Country, I think more people would realize they are much happier. Digging your vidjas. Keep em coming.
@kmas8229
@kmas8229 3 ай бұрын
Ey man I agree with ya but gotta set a thing straight, sometimes the man bun could be concealing a mullet or the dude likes heavy metal and hates scissors. (I aint payin to listen to some housewives complain bout the husband doin' the neighbors daughters friend whilst locked in a chair) Or a little bit of both. Hard to wrench with all that gosh dern hair goin' up the nostrils too. "Dont judge the bun before you kno' the man...eh..hun?" Had to make it rhyme somehow. Have a good one, man.
@PersonalBestOutdoors
@PersonalBestOutdoors 3 ай бұрын
@kmas8229 I hear ya. I don't judge solely off the man bin, which is why I put the other qualifiers there. While I used to have both a mullet, and longer hair, neither time did I put them in a bun. Even if I had, I don't drink lattes, nor do I eat soy. Unless you also do these things, the comment doesn't apply to you. Only to those that do, and also are hell bent on destroying MY HOME, my USA... turning it into some failed Berkley experiment, or copycat version of a failed socialist/ communist outhouse. I've also learned that only those who take offense to such comments do so from a guilty conscience... Bottom line, I don't care what you drink, what you eat, who you love, or what you do with your hair... until you make me care by cramming your life down my throat, and ruining my USA. For God, for Country, for Liberty, and guns.

What a truly wonderful journey you experienced. Most people will live a lifetime with such a goal and never get there for the most arbitrary reasons. Your truck could stop working and you have the wherewithal to replace an entire engine and drivetrain on the side of the road. Nothing can stop you from realizing your goals and that is very inspiring. You don’t know me, but I know you. And you sir, are one of the bravest, most intelligent, most caring individuals I have ever seen. Well done.

That’s more on YOU. How they let folks vote who never even seen the country is a source of most problems .

Wife and I did a cross America road trip for our honeymoon in our old jalopy 90 idi, sleeping in canopy on a piece of foam for most of it. BC to Alabama / Mississippi in 12 days, including Yellowstone. Lots of backroads and cool stuff, beat the hell out of some destination resort trip.

One of the best productions yet! After 3 trips to see Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, and Glacier National parks, i'm pretty familiar with the areas. The canyon to Ten Sleep is no joke. We took Crazy Woman Pass from Sheridan to get ice cream in Ten Sleep at a place dad visited as a kid. That drive is where I saw my first moose. You probably missed out on the big ass museum in Cody, but thats one of my favorite spots. If you get the chance, do a vidya on the Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park. One of the best drives ever. That same trip is when we went on your side of the border to Cardston and ate at High Five. Best milkshakes i have ever had. Pretty memorable border crossing experience as well. Thanks again for a great show, i havent laughed this much in years, and a great closer to my labor day weekend.

Awesome Video, Peg. Sounds like the old IDI made the trip. What a sweet road trip. I ran from Michigan to San Diego for a meeting and back about 10 years ago with my family. It was a nice trip. I would like to visit Yellowstone and Mount Rushmore on my next road trip. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks

I’ve used Gatorade as coolant before. Busted rad lost a bunch of green coolant in the middle of the desert. Had some green Gatorade and JB weld. Well that truck ran with JB weld and Gatorade until winter.
