A lot of you reached out and asked for this, so I apologize for taking so long! Trying to make a video when you have a baby feels so daunting, but it is finally here. Hope this update is helpful to someone and encouraging to those who feel that losing pregnancy weight is impossible, when you endured an extreme weight gain.
I in no way made this video to boast, or to act like I'm so great for losing weight. I also didn't make this to say "Poor me, I'm still not small enough and I didn't lose enough weight and my body composition is different, so sad, etc." I simply made this video for the people who have reached out and asked for an update. Some even found me on Instagram to message me separately and see how I'm doing now. I didn't mean to leave everyone hanging! So this video is simply meant to inform, to update, and hopefully encourage. Postpartum is a crazy season, and weight loss doesn't need to be the main focus. However, there is nothing wrong with not wanting to stay at your weight that you're at, immediately after giving birth. I don't believe our bodies were meant to stay there permanently. A little dissatisfaction is ok if it motivates us to move in healthy directions, as long as it doesn't cause severe discontentment, depression, self-hatred, body dysmorophia, etc. I hope we can all be proud of our bodies for carrying and birthing children! That is one of the greatest things, if not the greatest, our bodies can do as women! That alone should make us feel strong and accomplished! Additionally, I hope we can all make choices that are healthy for ourselves, in all stages of life. And I hope that comes across in this video.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask! I had fun making a video again and am not opposed to doing more, if there are things you'd like to see! Thanks for all your kind words, love, and support always!!! You guys rock!
