Here are my three home buying and investment keys:
Key #1: Don’t allow distance to prevent you from buying in your desired market. Just be sure to have an experienced and trusted advisor in the city who can visit the properties and give you an honest rundown. I bought all six properties virtually without seeing them in person but I had my contractor and property manager visit & inspect all properties and send me videos of each.
Key #2: Get homeowners insurance immediately. Don’t wait.
Key #3: Educate yourself on investing in properties, read books, attend seminars, etc.
