I primarily invest in traditional index funds and ETFs that are focused on the US stock market, with a small portion invested in international stock funds. I prefer total market funds to the S&P 500 index funds that they are currently invested in due to the added exposure to mid and small-cap companies, but I'm sticking with the S&P 500 funds due to a lack of better options in their 401k accounts. My thought is that behavior and psychology should be considered when constructing an investment portfolio and caution against maximizing returns at the expense of stability. My other investment holdings consist of real estate and a little bit of Bitcoin.
My overall investment strategy focuses on diversification and stability, with a preference for low-cost index funds and a willingness to adjust the portfolio as needed based on their goals and risk tolerance. It's important to understand your own psychology and behavior when it comes to investing and be very careful before making impulsive decisions.

Love your videos man! Keep them coming. I love compound simple long term index investing. Did buy some individual stocks this past OCT with everything going on, and they have paid off, but not something I generally do. Too much emotions that go on with that. I'll stick with DCAing my index funds: VOO, VTI, VUG, VGT, VHT, VB, VXUS. Started this mix couple years ago thanks to your videos and others. Tell Molly I am a fan of hers too.

@Jarrad To be honest, I didn't even look at your title, I just clicked. I like that you seem pretty up front, don't mince words, aren't afraid to share your thoughts and you get to the point. Good material doesn't have to be "sensational". In fact, sensational material is usually just that and only that. You always seem to have a very balanced perspective (in my opinion) and I appreciate that you actually answer questions. I must admit, I do love miss Molly and I too am a health nut so...I like to see your fridge once in a while! LOL Keep doing what you're doing.

Thanks for the kind words! My fridge is about as boring and healthy as it gets. Chicken, ground beef, flank steak, veggies, homemade cold brew, almond milk (unsweetened) for protein smoothies, plain greek yogurt, hot sauce, 7 month old beer (bc I rarely drink), and a little bit of cheese if I want to spice up meals here and there. Staying away from highly inflammatory foods (mainly with the poor quality oils) has been a big focus of mine over the past 8 months or so.

Roth 401k: - 20% Fidelity Growth Index - 60% Fidelity S&P 500 Index (similar to FXAIX) - 20% Vanguard Total International Index Roth IRA: - 80% FSKAX (Fidelity Total Market Index) - 20% QQQM (Investco NASDAQ 100 ETF) Brokerage: - 90% SCHD - 10% HDV I basically kept my 401K the most well-rounded. I would do a total market index in my 401k if my company offered it. They do have separate small and mid cap indexes, but the expense ratios are too much for me, so I just stuck to the S&P index. As you can see, the S&P is my core holding, with a tilt towards growth stocks, and also some international for more diversification. Most of my money is in my 401k. I went a little bit more aggressive in my IRA by only choosing US funds. Other than that, it's the same model is my 401k - mostly the borad market with a tilt towards growth stocks. I plan to live off the dividends in my brokerage when I retire early, so this is essentially my bridge account. I'm going all in on SCHD since it's the perfect blend of stock appreciation and dividend income. I only have HDV because I was investing in that fund before i discovered SCHD. I just decided to keep HDV since it tilts towards the energy industry, which SCHD doesn't.
