Hey guys!! I'm super sorry if I seem quite distant at the moment, but I will be uploading once a week (I think I may even settle with Monday as a new upload day if that sounds good?) and sharing more personal things in due time, when it feels right, or only if it feels right. I won't also be replying as much as I used to in the comments for a bit of time, just because it brought me a lot of stress and sadness towards the end of last year. So as I said in the video, I'm putting myself and my mental health first right now so I can work on 'me' and find what I know is going to make me happiest long term. Thank you, as always, for supporting me and being here for me - it never goes unnoticed 💚

The comments are the best and worst thing for creators. I have a fantasy outsourcing list as a creator. Can't possibly afford to pay anyone to help me yet, but on my list is someone to moderate my comments for me so I don't have to see the evil ones!!!

Oh and a channel I watch called Eight Miles from Home, literally years ago, made a video explaining why they don't ever, ever answer their comments. Mental health and time, basically - although their answer was lot more detailed, obviously.

Your mental health is the most important! Even though you feel a bit lost, I know that you sharing your struggles during the chaos that is post uni life with resonate with a lot of people and help them feel less alone. Let me just tell you, even though it seems like everyone has it all figured out, we are all just faking it till we make it! None of us really know what we’re doing!

Great to see you are being proactive about it! People of a wide age range and types of circumstances are experiencing identity crises in their own ways, striving to sort out who they’d like to become, what to do next, how to start over, how to manage day-to-day uncertainties, and so on. Some confront more than once in life. It can feel very tricky while being in the thick of it. Best of luck with it! 🍀 Nice New Balance jacket, btw!

People with professional designations such as engineering (only certain engineering fields), medicine, dentistry, chartered accountancy, actuary etc. feel very secure in their jobs and such people usually do not have an identity crisis. I studied computer science and I am always stressed because technology changes fast and even if I keep up with the technology, it is hard to find an opportunity in the new technical area. It is always better to earn a professional designation that offers a variety of opportunities in different industries because it provides financial stability and financial freedom. As you get older (past 35), feeling secure in your job is very important and professional designations offer that security.

Really liked the format and editing style of this video, felt like aaah Holly is back again!😊 Honestly though, the things you're describing Holly, to me sound totally like a classic quarter life crisis😅😂 Like.. all the questions about what direction to go in, what's important in your life, what you value most, what to do in terms of career, feeling lost etc etc all very typical questions to ask yourself in your late 20's. So I think it's really good not to be too hard on yourself, realise you're not alone in this (very relatable actually) and like you said, to try and stay positive about things. At the same time, its totally fine to be unsure for a while, you don't need to have it all together and figured out all of the time🤍 Just like with the previous couple videos (and digital nomad Thailand), you try some new stuff - some work, some don't work - its the same for everything in this phase of life I guess.. Just keep doing what you enjoy and like best, it's your life, you decide and don't need our approval🙈✨️ Have been watching you since you started Cambridge, so we'll stick around hahaha it's your personality, not the things you do or don't do, we want to see you happy too, just like watching an old friend😊🍀

I don't usually comment on youtube videos, but I just wanted to say I'm happy for you! You will never be able to make everyone happy, the best you can do is be true to yourself. If you want to keep vloging and sharing your life that's okay if that's what resonates with you! Whoever you lose along the way doesn't really matter because you are coming closer to yourself :) Hope this year brings you some clarity ❤

not everyone has to be a sheep and live their life exactly like everyone else. People just can't cope seeing someone do differently than the ''norm'' that they keep pressurising people to conform until they finally give in. Maybe holly wants to live at home? thats how she feels happier? why should she live her life just to conform? people these days are such small minded judgemental sheep they can't deal with seeing someone living life their own way

This doesn’t necessarily apply to Holly but in recent years many people in their 20s & 30s in the UK can’t afford to move out due to the skyrocketing cost of housing/rent compared to wages (especially in expensive parts of the country such as London & surrounding areas, Edinburgh, Oxford/Cambridge & many rural areas)

I agree that Jesus is the answer to all of her questions. However, I also understand that she will never come to that understanding until it is too late. 99% of people today think you and I are ignorant and superstitious. They are wrong there as well. @@URBuggin78 there's more historical evidence for Jesus existence than there is for many other historical figures. Figures who's existence I'm sure you wouldn't even question. Even from a historical perspective and not a faith based one, the gospels are considered historically accurate documents. Now whether or not you place your faith in him as God is one thing, but his existence is a fact. To claim he is nothing but "Imaginary" is an uneducated and biased comment.

@@bribriannita7935 To be precise, there are historical evidence of historical events - such as social and political changes "at the time of Jesus", if you wanna call it like that, that are definitely connected to the spreading of a new, different kind of religion and theories on why it became popular in the Roman Empire. None of this means that Jesus as he is described in the Bible existed, let alone it is proof that God exists. The Gospels are NOT considered historical in any part of the globe XD even religious people are aware they went through several rounds of translations (just try and compare the Greek and Latin versions, without even getting into modern languages, and you'll see what I mean) across centuries, were heavily modified and hand-picked by the Church (there are TONS of "gospels" out there, obviously lots of people were writing about the historical events of the time, the 4 you see in the Bible are the final pick from the Church), and are not to be taken literally. There is nothing wrong with having your own faith and you can definitely argue that the historical changes happening at the time are deeply fascinating, but you have to be either very uneducated (nothing wrong with it, just don't pretend you have studied a subject if you haven't!) or just not interested in facts to claim the Gospels are an accurate source. If you have seen them being defined as "an historical document", it doesn't mean they contain facts, it means they hold historical value like any other ancient object, like a painting or a novel. I am very sad people spread so much wrong information and make a bad reputation for all religious people - I am not religious myself, but I have Christian friends, and they would never claim Gospels are a history book!

@@bribriannita7935 idek why my comment keeps disappearing, but for the sake or correct information: the Bible/Gospels are NOT history books! They have historical values, but again, that is a completely different concept! It means they are old text worth studying the same way you study the Homeric poems or anything regarding the culture of ancient people. Not to mention the rounds of translations they went through before getting to us, and the fact the Church picked only 4 gospels, edited them and decided those were the ones (there's PLENTY of gospels out there, obviously, lots of people were writing down what was going around them, again, just like for any mythology). And yes, a Jesus-like figure might have existed but this has nothing to do with the religious aspect of it, it comes from studying the political and social situation of the Roman empire at the time. And just to be clear, since the person you replied to was clearly referring to God, there is ZERO proof of his existence - no supernatural being can have historical proof to support their existence! It's great to be confident in you faith and getting support from it, but sharing incorrect information doesn't really benefit anyone :(
