Pete, as a long time follower of this content, I can honestly say you have invigorated my interest into the game and almost single handedly turned me from a break even 5NL player to a winning 25-50NL player. Your exploitative lens on the game is absolutely second to none. Anyone reading this, Grade E is sensational and blueprints a large portion of the mistakes other players are making giving a clear route to exploit them. I find other content creators are too hyper focused on theory when the opponents themselves are not following it, you are the only one I can watch. Every video is incredible quality, so thank you for all your work

Congratulations, and that advice is sage. I retired early and was going to get back to poker (I left being a full time poker player to pursue my other career) as a fun hobby making a little extra income. Instead, two months into that plan, I found out my son was on the way. He arrived with COVID, and in what feels like a couple weeks looking back, he's turning five and starting school this year. It goes so fast, enjoy it.

Your channel helped me as a beginner poker player quite a bit, big thank you!

Great video Pete. I liked the videos where you had a student and reviewed hands. Like Losing to cruising and stalling to mauling.

Dear Pete, thank you for yr hard work. I bought yr mental game book some time back. The very best advice you gave me is to always take my hand off the mouse during each hand. My heavens...how that helps! I can only explain its efficacy is that it, somehow, forces the engagement of executive function, and turns off intuition or auto pilot. Bless you. All the best, Carol.

Pete, bit of a random comment here but I've been wanting to tell you and Sam The Lamb this since I watched Squid Game Season 2. Sam is the absolute spitting image of Player 007 in Squid Game Season 2. Apparently Sam has a Korean doppelganger. 😄

Yep we also noticed this in our friend group and are still not sure whether it is actually Sam.

Hey Pete will you do be doing 2024 end of year results. I'm really curious what they were.

I generally play live and run into a lot of spots where you are the preflop raiser oop with a tight range vs a probable loose calling range with QQ+ and AK being the main 3bets. How to approach these situations would be nice, also, multiway pots of any kind too

Pete, I hope you have started teaching your son how to play Bridge. Don't let him suffer with the late start that you did!

Do you also look back in pt4 to review hands you have played like this to see exactly how you played them? Maybe even filter also to see if change in future?

How do you decide which board types you want to generate sims for?

I just try to pick a sample of textures that are really different from one another. I’m also starting with the common ones first which is why you don’t see monotone or three straight in the video.

Idk if you've done this on purpose to trigger us all but you definitely take the cake for worst GTOw colour customisation

Just as a noob, I find the notation of x for check confusing. More natural symbols for check for me would be -, 0, or + from chess. X reads like fold to me.

Why didn’t you play in the coinpoker world championship? Since you’re always telling us you coach high stakes players it should be a walk in the park for you
