I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2024 with 10k and I'm up with 128k in a short period of time.This comment serves as motivation for all those who have invested and continue to invest in cryptocurrencies with so many losses, do not give up, cryptocurrencies can change your life. It's a common misconception that when a stock you buy skyrockets, the smart thing to do is sell it (or at least sell some of it) to lock in your profits. But the context matters. If the stock has increased sharply because the business is performing exceptionally well, it could still be a bargain. I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $350K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas

After a terrible 2022, shell-shocked financial backers have a lot to think about and losses to recover from. My advice is always to keep the majority in ETFs that cover multiple sectors. Then have a couple stocks, as a small percentage, picked out that you feel personally attached to or interested in. That way you can mitigate a lot of the risk but also have a personal touch to your portfolio. I feel this mitigates some of the emotional downsides or disinterest people have with investing. Also helps with the urge to constantly buy/sell with fluxes in the market. Grateful i have an adviser at this point. major Thanks to Rita Wildrin Mora.

The main idea of investment not to have passive income but to have profit if your stock price increase. With any amount from 20-100k its better invest in real estate and sell after a couple of years with morgage.

I made $10,000 overnight on my 1st options trade. I invested $1600 with TSLA on a call and woke up the next morning and had $10,000 in my account. It felt like a dream until I actually seen it in my account. I didn't know much about Elon but when I chose to invest at the time Elon had become the richest person in the us and I just happened to pick to invest in that moment.

It's possible for you to build a diversified portfolio out of individual stocks but it's time consuming really needs a lot of research and know how to manage portfolio, instead of buying individual stocks, focus on stock mutual funds. With mutual funds you can purchase a large selection of stocks within one fund.

I'm a little confused on what he's saying. He only has 10-11 different types of stocks, continuously invests in those same 10 stocks, and those 10 are diverse? That sounds like such a low number of stock types. I'm completely new to this, can anyone briefly explain that or did I misinterpret what he said?
@mongojrttv4 жыл бұрын
From what I understand he invested in different stocks (this is called diversifying your portfolio) in order to avoid losing profit. Stocks go up and down but if you invest in a variety of companies things are a little less risky. Think of the phrase don't put all your eggs in the same basket. He saw which investments were profitable and kept investing in it.

The reason many people venture into Trading/lnvesting (Financial Market), is so that they can get to have a better life, while working and even after retirement. The wisest thing that should be on every wise individual's list is to invest in different stream of income; I am earning more this year because I have been investing while working at the same time. I Invested through Steven Dunn , same man that an anchor kept mentioning on CNBC, he is licensed and made multiple of my start up capital within three months.
