Yaaa, finally someone made that, I've made my own 16 bit with subtraction and addition. But I didn't figure out how to insert numbers with decimal, but figured out how to get the result with decimal using counters and some complicated schemes and it was taking about a minute to convert after the operation. But what you have made is truly amazing, can't imagine how time consuming and hard that was

You should next make a scientific calculator! But you should cheat like the engineers did in the 70's, using Reverse Polish Notation. It massively simplifies the calculator, and gives you a chance to make a really cool lesson on how to use RPN!

Sounds great. Pong certainly is a good game to make. More difficult than your normal rust circuit, but still achievable. I would suggest you join the rustricity workshop or my discord, for any questions you might encounter. Also you can show your final product off, there are plenty of people well appreciating these projects.

The secret is to use the pass through setting on the counter and then give it the amount of power equal to the number you want to display. So before it there is a circuit that adds rust watts in binary increments together.

It is very much possible. Think of how the result of the calculator is displayed. One letter at a time gets pushed in. Now one would only need to extend the decoder to also display letters and make the whole thing loop around.

Good question and yes it is. With the logic gates in Rust you can create a turing complete machine. Just like our real world computers it wouldn't have infinite memory, actually pretty small memory, but it would still be able to do the same as a turing machine.
