Just found your channel, I have just passed my national exam and will be retaking my state portion next week. I will also be starting part-time as an agent while continuing my full-time job until I am able to save up enough to go into RE full-time. Very inspirational!

I have literally found my queen. Been looking for a strong black woman to follow while taking this real estate journey. Starting my classes at the end of January. My husband and I are all about multiple streams of income and building as entrepreneurs. Subscribed and hope you need agents when I’m done with school, I am also in the DFW area. Have a great day Ms. Chauncey.

As a aspiring soon to be agent how was it transitioning from a full time job to real estate
@TheChaunceyShow5 жыл бұрын
TreCurry 6 It was hard af. I worked my regular job all day and did showings at night and on weekends. I also did at least 2 Open Houses every weekend. So I literally had no days off for about 2.5 months. But it allowed me to quit my job which was a game changer. Temporary discomfort for future gain.

@TheChaunceyShow4 жыл бұрын
Anything you’re good at that they may not be, offer to help them with any bitch work they need. I’m personally good with video and social media, so that’s what I lead with. Host Open Houses for their listings, if you’re good with photography - offer some services. Just offer anything that you can help with - no one wants to give you their time and resources for nothing.

Chauncey Pham Did they provide training for agents? I’m thinking about eXp Realty and just want to know if it might be better to go Fathom Realty. Thanks again!
@TheChaunceyShow5 жыл бұрын
Shyam Patel Funny you’d say that... It’s still a secret (unless someone reads our thread :) but I’m taking my entire Brokerage to EXP starting Sept 1st! I’d say that the resources from your up line, technology, and multiple streams of revenue that you can get from EXP are better for agents that are attractors than Fathom. Fathom is great for agents that are of very servant and faith based mindsets and don’t have any interest in growing passive streams of revenue. Both are great but it depends on what you’re looking for. I will say that my personal experience with Fathom was that I just cultivated a relationship with a top producer and she answered my questions. There wasn’t a formal “training program” back then (3yrs ago) but I’m unsure if that has changed. If you’re looking at EXP, we should chat!

@@TheChaunceyShow I'm in Houston. Have you networked with agents from JPAR? Can you share your thoughts on EXP vs JPAR? I'm strongly considering JPAR because the culture seems like a great fit. For EXP, it seems you have to make sure you get in the right network; I'm unsure of how to secure that. I love your videos! 💞 I just passed my exam 2 days ago. I look forward to learning from your experiences!

Great content! Love it! New Subscriber. Can you tell me how it was transferring careers as a mother? Was it a huge adjustment with the change in schedule. You may have a video that mentions it, if so please direct me to it. :) I’m newly licensed and I want to hop in 100% (full time) but something keeping me back is putting my little ones (2kids) in daycare $$. I think that’s just a risk I’m going to have to take.

Tiffany Bailey it was hard as hell transitioning. I did both for about 2 months (my old job as an Account Executive for a Marketing firm and Real Estate). Schedule didn’t bother me so much since my previous career was very flexible and I worked from home. Childcare is going to be a must if you really want to pursue it full-time!

How much of this $190k is gross income and how much did you actually net after business expenses?
@TheChaunceyShow2 жыл бұрын
My first year, my expenses were VERY low. I spent $900/mo on leads and $99/mo to my brokerage. $700 for the year on board/Association/MLS fees, and gas. So around $15,000 in expenses 🤷🏽♀️. I still run a very lean business at around 85% margin.
