Very interesting video, nice to see products used that are not exclusive to the US. I hope you're wearing gloves when you're working with that resin. Awesome weathering btw!

Thank you very much Bjorn! Yes the Lechler is the equivalent of Bondo spot and glazing. Spray putty is a bit like high build primer but much better, thicker and with a better finish. I actually 2k high build primer now in my compressor which is solar to spray putty. I do wear gloves :-) All the best buddy and thank you. Ash

You can mix that glazing putty with acetone, then probably use airbrush or just regularly brush it on a helmet. It's faster and you can get smoother finish.
@jedhaworkshop2 жыл бұрын
Hey mate, Yeh Ive actually tried that. I didnt use an airbrush though, just a brush. It 'felt' amazing doing ti and like it was going to work, but I found it just wasn't thick enough to have an impact once it dried. Tried different ratio's too just couldst get a good consistency, thick enough to be workable but thin enough to apply easily.

Hiya. Great video, I really enjoyed watching. Any chance of a link to the visor material? It's such a pita to source.

Freaking awesome, mate! You did an insanely awesome job! (I think the chipping/cracking of the paint happend because you might have used different brands of spraypaint. I've had that issue before myself.)

Hey Nick thank you so much mate! Yeh it was really weird. Might have been a reaction to the masking tape residue maybe as I'm not sure I cleaned it off. Thanks for your support dude!

print it in one print next time and in 100% infill for maximum helmet
@jedhaworkshop10 ай бұрын
If you print in one piece you run the risk of a print failure and have to do the whole thing again rather than just 1 part. And printing at 100% infill is insanity and a huge waste of material. 3 walls and 6-8% infill gyroid is the most efficient, equal in strength and about 90% less weight!
