Hi! I love the trinket boxes you made in this video. I just have a question, which resin brand do you usually use? I've been using nail top coat to make my pieces shinier and more durable but I would like to switch to resin because the top coat has been making my pieces smell like nail polish 😅...

This is awesome, thank you! One question, can I make tea cups or diyas using this clay? Is it heat and water proof? Also, what happens to the cut off parts of the clay? Since its air dry, it dries and cant be reused right?

Thank you so much! Yes you can make cups and diyas. Try to get a softer clay that is easy to mold for complex creations. Once you use resin on top to finish it off, it becomes water proof. The longer it is exposed to the air, the drier it gets but you can reuse it. Soak the dried parts in water and leave it for a few days, the clay starts absorbing water and gets moldy each day. You can then use it to make more clay work. I did the same and used it to make designs on top of these trinket boxes.

I’m going to assume not because it’s air dry clay. You can’t/usually don’t bake that kind of clay. Edit: I watched further and she’s says around 8 minutes that she let them air dry :)

That is absolutely correct :)

No they are not meant to be baked. You just need to dry them out under Sun or UV light if you got that :)

These are so beautiful! Uv resin will yellow over time. Also it’s very toxic and cancerous so you should wear gloves, mask and make sure there are no pets around and keep the windows open! ❤
