Idk if this'll Help anyone but when you're rolling out your clay & want to Assure you're rolling the entire piece the same thickness try stacking popsicle sticks. Place them (3/4 high) on opposite sides and stack them to the height you want to roll. Making Sure to Allow roller to roll atop them. U can move them as you roll to Assure proper thickness is achieved throughout the entire piece. U can add or take away your sticks for desired thickness. HTH

Quick tip: Air dry clay sticks very well to already dried clay. So, you can wait for the lid to dry before attaching the trinket (fox) on top. It will also give you the opportunity to spend some time attaching it neatly without worry about damaging the lid. Thank you for your videos!

What a lovely project! A few years ago I took pottery classes and fell in love with hand-building little pots like this. I'd given it up because of the irregular firing schedule and having to drive half an hour back and forth to see if my pieces had been fired yet. And then again to see if they'd been fired after glazing. So frustrating. This seems like it will allow me to get back to doing something I've been missing a lot. Thank you!!

These are so cute!!! I am very new to clay but you made this project look not too intimidating and broke it down into basic steps. I am excited to give it a go. I'm definitely subbing and look forward to watching more videos.

I been prognosticating for 15 years, about making air dry clay projects. So far I bought 56 pounds of air clay. 50 pounds of it turned into 2 giant rocks. Anyway, this is the video I need it. I want to make air dry cat trees, those cylinders have similar shape of tree cat beds. Thank you. PS: I did made multiple Monster Clay projects in the past.

@@RedRockingBird I done that before, but that clay is so old, I threw most of it away. I will throw away the rest soon. That was super crappy cheap clay. I do have 6 pounds of new Das clay to use, I can't wait to use. I will check out your video, thanks for all your help :)
