i am in the middle of making this puppet i am at the part where i need to put the mouth in , the glue he used i can't get it here in the US, i was going to sew it in but it seems like it's a little too big to sew it in, it k folds in on it's self like it's a little to big, i been thinking of using contact cement

A low-temp glue gun has been a great tool in puppet making!

Would this pattern work to make a Kermit the frog head or would some modifications be needed

Kermit has a pretty thin neck so my guess would be that the head and body are separate parts sewn together.

Impact glue. It’s also known as contact glue and neoprene glue. You can also use contact cement and other strong adhesives

Hot glue gun is an alternative too

Pros-aide is another good alternative since it does not have the toxic risks of using neoprene glue.
