This is how I made six figures from my first year on KZbin. I started in January of this year, I always wondered about how to work from home - could it really be true? Can you really make a living and build wealth making videos online? I quit my job, and started KZbin, with no backup plan. That was not smart. Instead of investing in the stock market or dividends, I chose to invest in myself. There are many roads to financial independence. It was a rough start.
In January - I made $0, my click through rate (CTR) was non existent, I didn't understand how to do thumbnails and titles.
In February - I made $0 - slowly learning how to structure my investing videos about compound interest, stock market, dividends, robinhood, etc.
In March - $90.48, but it's not enough for KZbin to pay you ($100 is the minimum). I earned $0 in March.
In April - I made $1511.57. I had ONE video go viral and get a ton of views. Even though the income is higher, I wasn't paid anything in April because KZbin pays one month behind, which was $90.I earned nothing, four months in.
In May - I made $1923.07, I had another video go crazy called how I made 781.47 with Robinhood Dividends, where I showed my income from my dividend investments. This was the turning point in realizing that some videos pay more depending on your topic. Personal finance, financial minimalism, finance, credit cards, brokerages, etc. pay a lot more money than most other topics on KZbin.
In June - $2558.13, I learned ANOTHER lesson that I didn’t know about before. I learned I could monetize my videos by placing ads in the middle of my videos. I went back and placed mid-roll ads in every video I could find.
So far, I've made $6,083.25. Far surpassing my $1000 of income goal in 2019, but that translates into $5.07 per hour working as much as I have 6 months in. Almost less than half the minimum wage.
In July - I made $3,895.60, I noticed a direct correlation between monetization and views.
In August - $5808.33. This is replacing my “income” from what I was earning at my job at this point.
In September - $14,879.04, my first five figure month. I started earning between $20-$30 for every one thousand views. My investment of my time is now starting to have a huge compound interest effect.
In October - another 5 figure month. $11,622.
In November - $30,782.18. This is unbelievable. I just made someone's annual salary in one month. Incredible.
In December - $41,080.62. I'm speechless. I'm glad I quit my day job.
Next is Patreon, where you can find my spreadsheet that keeps track of your stock investments, shows your dividend stocks, and more. I've made $14,104 from Patreon.

Dividend Income - $7005.85
Shopify Income - $7,704.66
My total income for 2019 has just passed $200,000 (I don't have the exact amount, but it's slightly above $200k). I'm so glad I quit my day job to take a chance. None of this would be possible without my dividend investment that gave me courage, and YOU for watching my videos. Thank you so much.

When you are starting a channel, you might not know which of your skills is the one that is going to attract others, so don't be afraid to make videos on all of your interests and that interest you. The more videos you put out, the better you will become at making them. Once you see which videos get the most views and comments, that will let you know what people want to see. So then you go and make more of those kinds of videos. Just start!
