Just wait until create aeronautics. I'd love to see a commerical airplane using create mod. the devs told me create aeronautics is compatible with distant horizons which makes you have a huge render distance with no performance issues as it uses an LOD system. You can easily create Microsoft flight simulator in Minecraft once it's released. Can't wait

Great idea I will keep an eye out for that. The most issues i found is making it work with my shaderpack and replaymod. Its a mix of fabric loader and curseforge. So not all things work together. Either way I am very curious about the aeronautics update!

In actuality, they're trying to make it have the least amount of bugs it possibly can, and the only remaining bugs could get slowly pointed out by the community and resolved quickly, and these bugs would likely be minor lol!

Tip use ship engines they make the ship faster and more energy to move your ship

if you build your create stuff after the ship is assembled that usually works much better

I started with a mock-up ship to test all its create functions. After that i first made the empty ship, assembled it and then added the create components, sadly some create stuff didnt work in that way either but that might be because i used a older version.

You could try restone sticky pistons. Would not rotate, you could make them just come straight down.

True but that could only be done for the landing gears. The flaps have to rotate. Its such a hard mod to wrap my head around 😅

I always had a certain minecraft mod pack idea in my head, anyone is free to use, just provide a link to it (perhaps small mentioning), but generally its core modpack concept is 'Time' on grandscale, thats also a representation of a immersively choosing the Player's difficulty Pre-game story involves the Player being a random/high-/low-ranking Crewmember onboard a superior SpaceShip, top of the line, with all the scifi relevant modpack devices at highest tier, ideally put togehter with behind the scenes modpack creators ideal compact and overpowered designs But 'unfortunatly' the Ship encountering a perfect storm of conditions which allowed a hostile force to invade and briefly occupy the Spaceship itself, with the result that the player had to (briefly) evacutate within Survival Lifeboats, eventually landing safely on a planet, starting the Modpack itself, wheras the original Space Ship itself is put in high orbit, glacially slowly drifting away over time When player gains control, capable of moving around with rather limited space within the Lifeboat itself, and technically able to briefly exiting the escape ship to explore its (obscured) surroundings, which also immmersively represents the Difficulty setting in reverse order, with Risk following Rewards Starting on relatively young planet, as its most difficult level, except directly around Lifeboat itself, the entire surface is filled with dangerouse natural features, from extreme heat to earthquakes etc, but should the player be able find a way to teleport back onto their original ship, they are able to perform a almost devasting sneak attack, regaining it for themselves Meanwhile, Player was provided with a special Tech, among one of them one-way time machine, allowing to 'Skip' time in large steps, ie 1 sec : 1 million etc, with any/all unprotected blocks would 'gradually' being replaced within a instant world-regen, whilest protecting the Lifeboat, or its externally connected & shielded player-placed structures, made from locally harvested materials, with inferior ones providing inferior protection The Planet. over time, would alterate between different hostile enviroments, similairly to the early Earth, from hot, wet, cold, mostly toxic, until early Human life is permanently sustainable, with its own ice ages, gradually becoming almost permanently 'peacefull' However, during this entire time, the original SpaceShip would be consistantly more harder to reach, requiring more resources and differnt technology, with occupying force were able to secure themselves with superior tech, constantly maintaining a high degree of vigilance, making any future sneak attemps futile for the most of the time But, when Planet hostililty levels becomes eventually Peacefull, the occupying force would equally gradually deplete most of the onboard resources whilest afflicting minor damages on the system overall making it equally worthless, until a returning Player would be faced with a worn & torn Spaceship with most of its resources spent, akin to encountering a Ruins on the planet Whilest the occupying force had almost constant presence onboard, able to 'tap in' or exploit selective properties, they werent not able to fully control the Ship, most prominantly unable to change the Ship course, which would drifted further away, which requires the player to travel to more remote planets to establising a relay station or launch site, often in (more) hostile enviroments The ideal end-game condition is to establish a stable transport connection to outside the solar system with their original faction, only possible having atleast 40-50% of the Ships resources, with pro-action players able to retake the ship in a high action with intense combat during the initial few levels, yet allowing a contructive player to patiently awaiting ideal conditions to also capable of clearing the endgame

is this mod compatible with gun mods that have turrets? typically turrets turn from Blocks and become Entities since their guns move around. Davinci Vessels doesn't work well with such mods, so I'm wondering if it will work in this one?

If it is another separate mod then no. The gun will probably turn into a entity thats unable to move. But i do know there are addons for the create mod with guns or cannons that actually do work. So i guess its possible. Im not really sure tho

@@generalross but isn't Create mod not compatible for version 1.12? thats the version i have. i was hoping there's a moving mod like Davinci vessels or Valkyrianskies that also allows gun turrets to work properly while the vessel you made is moving, so far i haven't found any...

@@MikaHolic_Channel_OFFICIAL i dont think there is one for 1.12. the much newer updated version probably have alot of those kind of addons. but even valkyrian skies does not work perfectly with the create mod. so other mods wont work that great aswel. i do not know enough about all that mob stuff honestly so I really cant help that much sorry 😅

Can you add a link for the modpack or something? I cant get it to work by installing the mods manually the game just crashes every time I try to join a world eventhough I ve got all the mods I need

I had the same issue. i manually made my own modpack by just putting in all the mods i need. which often still didnt work. then i found out that when you open the minecraft launcher it often wants to use the wrong version of forge mod loader. so you got to manually change that to another version till it works. also can be different if you use a different minecraft version. just try anything and everything

Use the physics infuser to make a war ship and make it more realistic btw make it in a bigger water in minecraft it can make helicopters and planes and TANKS!1!

Yes i looked into it. Only problem is that both the replay mod, shaders and optifine dont work correctly. I need optifine to run shaders or my pc blows up. But yes i will definitely try it out

@@generalross Yeah unfortunately optifine isn't compatible with Clockwork. It makes ships invisible lol. but clockwork makes create mechansism work a lot better on ships, as well as adding flaps, etc :)

It does for me aswel. It depends on alot of things like what version of minecraft you play on, do you use forge or fabric mod loader, do you have other mods installed, and even how you build up your contraption can make it laggy.

Honestly i dont know much about mods and it was a whole fight for me aswel to make it work. I use the forge modloader you can download on your computer and through that you can your own mod folder and it will automatically open minecraft with those mods.

Something don't work if you built them before making it a ship if you rebuilt them after making it a ship then I usually works at least for me

I did partly rebuild the ship after i made it a ship entity but even then you cant do everything. Biggest problem was that you can not change the mechanical bearings settings after its a ship entity. Same goes for creative motor settings and alot of other settings. Once placed in a ship entity you cant change their settings. Thats why it broke for me most of the time.

In my teaser / trailer video you can actually see it fly. I forgot to add a motor/ engine block to make it go faster. So it can go much faster forward/ backwards. Its only such a heavy plane that i cant add enough balloon blocks to make it go up and down faster. Hopefully better versions of the mod or maybe clockwork/ aeronautics mod will make it better.

If you've played any of those mods, you'll know they are laggy and glitchy messes that "work" inconsistently. VS is a huge upgrade to all those mods that has a lot of new features that previous iterations didn't have.

Because it works my friend. I use thumbnail methods that are proven to work well on youtube and that happens to be shalz’s design and many others that use white borders, yellow arrows, and specific angles. I do try to use shaders to be different but for this video it didnt work out well with shaders. Thats sadly the reality of youtube
