How I Maintain My Silk Press on 4C Natural Hair for WEEKSSS!!!

I never get a real silky silk press, but then I've only ever done it myself. My hair just gets so dry and puffy the day after I flat iron it, so I've started just blow drying it and putting in 4-6 bantu knots to keep it stretched and usually wearing in 2 big braids most of the time.

Your hair looks beautiful and I appreciate your advice ❤. I also do the bantu knot method to preserve my hair every night when it’s straight. It works really well for me and it helps keep my hair straight up to 3-4 weeks. I don’t know how to wrap my hair so this method is a life saver 👏🏽🥹. Great video sis

You hair looks good. It’s impressive you were able to maintain it for 12 days. I definitely want to try this. But my question is do you live in England or NYC? I live in the southern US where it is humid and wondering if this would work for me. Is it possible the weather there at that time of the year February it being cold helped?

If done right a silk press can last for weeks lol especially if you use a good dry shampoo when it starts to get oily
