I've seen people talking about a video coming at the perfect time, and I've never experienced it until now, but this is actually perfect timing!! I just got an idea for an Omori animatic the other day, but I've never made an animatic before. I normally just draw, not animate, so these tips are very helpful!! :D Also, I love your animatics!!!

This is such an amazing video, thank you so much for making it! It's so inspiring, heartfelt, and amazingly helpful to hear you talk about how you created the Meteor Shower amv, and to hear the amazing pieces of advice you were able to give when it comes to making something that you're happy with. I personally am not that good at making visual art, but I know a lot the advice you gave about making what you want and being happy with changes and creations others might not see could really help a lot of people, and can apply to other forms of art such as music (which happens to be a type of art I want to try to get better at creating).

There's two types of animation, tweening and frame animation! For frame animations, yes you'd have to redraw the characters to get them to move. If you just wanna move the picture tho, you'd just need an editing software that can input animation keyframes!

I think they really love this game Omori guys. Can't put my thumb on why.... 😅 It's one of my fav games too. I love how much dedication you put into this. It's more of a gift to the game/community, and I'm glad it exists. I was one of the ppl watching frame by frame, its just so pretty and...the added expressions for each character(especially Mari and Aubrey) just...great ^-^
