I think it's pretty cool that you're always sharing your knowledge, I don't see a point in making your knowledge some sort of "industry secret". If someone has the patience and passion for a craft they will use this knowledge for good, and if not, it's literally not harming anyone. You're not creating more competition for these already established photographers, you are simply helping people who were already on their way to becoming photographers, because if they weren't on their way there they wouldn't practice these tips with time and patience in the first place. Knowledge doesn't increase in value when it's hidden, and only revealed to a select few. It's not like aging wine. It should be accessible, and people who are smart and creative will make something new out of it. Thank you for sharing so passionately Bliss Bean!

THIS!!!! i feel like so many youtubers gate keep because they want to claim their aesthetic and not be open about it to help other smaller creators. this is the first youtuber who tells all her youtube "secrets" ie. money she makes, how she edits, etc.

Love that you shut down the perception that we need to conceal our methods to get an edge on the competition. Equal access to information/opportunities makes the community better. Hoarding industry secrets seems like a way to compensate for a lack of new ideas.

I'm still learning too about this whole youtube thing. I think in the long run, getting paid $1000 or less is 'little' for a sponsorship. Maybe you need a certain number of subscribers and it depends on what you are sponsoring. But I have come across other youtubers who say that they ask for a minimum of $5000 for a sponsorship deal. Just wanted to throw that out!
