Did you cure each layer of color? It looked like I saw 30 sec. on your lamp. So, no base coat, just the color and then the topcoat? Was it 60 sec on the topcoat? Thanks!

That was my main concern is how do I dry these I lamp them after right ? Sorry dumb question here new to all this 😅 and is it best to paint under them because one hell I attempted to faded on the front end where I packed the paint and shows in the back end a lot better .

Hi! Thanks for watching! Yes, if your nail swatches is clear you can paint it under and the clear plastic will act as a top coat, but since mine is white I painted them on top. With whites it is trickier to do even coat and cure it in lamp until it didn't run to the sides and then also applying a top coat, but for me the polish looks more like it does on the nail when using white swatches! xx

I was wondering, is it faster to do like multiple and cure them all at once or cure them one after the other and prepare a new one when the previous is in the lamp?

Thank you so much for wathcing! ❤️ I believe gel polish is too runny. I mean that if you do one and let it sit until you do the second one, the first one will be all messed up because the polish will run to the sides and it will not be covered evenly. That is why i did them one by one, curing them as fast as possible so I would get the best result. I hope I helped!

@@nailsbyem4525 Thank you so so so much i didn't think you would reply lol. Imma start nail school in the following months and so i wanted to buy new gel polishes to have plenty of possibilities but that would mean swatches and having 100+ to swatch become boring. but thanks a lot

I’m sorry I didin’t saw your comment😢 best of luck in school! I would suggest not buying lots of polishes right away, in school you should learn the difference between polishes and how each of them feels, then it will be easier to decide what you want! Best of luck! ❤️

Hi! I own a salon and when i made these (prior to watchibg the vid) they were sticky even after wiping with alcohol, how can i prevent that?
@nailsbyem45253 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you for watching the video!❤️ Are the same polishes stay sticky when you use them on the client? If so, there isin’t much you can do, it’s how the certain polish is. If not. Make sure you cure them in the lamp properly or even longer than you should, maybe the polish weren’t cured yet. If that doesnt help try to treat the swatch sticks as you would nails on a client, try to decinfect them, use your file on the fake nail plate before putting anything on and try to clean them with alcohol after every layer of product. Maybe one of the layers werent cure properly and it caused other not to cure and it stayed sticky, or maybe there were some debry left on one of the layers causing others to fail. And also check if your top layer polish is still good, after long time some products tend to stay sticky even when used properly and cured properly, every polish has “best before” date. Also try different alcohol. I hope it helps, let me know if it worked! I never had such a problem, so I hope my thinking is right! If the same polish is sticky on the client nails or where ever you use it there isin’t anything that would help with it, some polishes are just more sticky than others. Hope it helps! Xxx

Can we remove this nail paint after curing and applying top coat...if yes then how
@elishaschooner155111 ай бұрын
With it being a swatch stick I'd probably just suggest using a new one but you could definitely try and file it away lightly 😊 or are you wanting to use it for something ? Xx

Gel polish is already thick try not to apply it that way it’ll cause lifting on natural nails. I know you’re doing swatched but do not create bad habits for yourself that you’ll have to unlearn when it comes to an actual client. (All positive feedback) (im not a know it all) 😃

You say that you aren't a know it all but that is exactly what you are. Don't give people unsolicited advice, it is rude, annoying and tacky. Just an fyi-people who constantly butt in and offer unsolicited advice are often secretly hated by the people that they consider friends. If someone wants your advice, they will ask for it. If you are constantly offering it without being asked, people are going to secretly hate you. The only unsolicited advice that it is appropriate to give to anyone is the advice to NOT give unsolicited advice!

Girl polishing the nail properly ensures full coverage. Turning upside down and tapping it is unnecessary

On a human nail - yes, but these are plastic and her process is correct way to swatch gel, “girl”.
