My favorite brands of gouache are in my supply lists on Blick or Amazon! There are many, many options for both gauche sets and individual colors on your favorites list! As much as I would love to buy all of your favorites, as a beginner, I just want to make a palette that I can be excited about and that will inspire me. Your palette looks perfect for that. Would you mind sharing the exact colors/brands that you have in your happy colors, as well as what you mix together to get the other beautiful colors?? Thank you so much! I think that having the happy colors in front of me will make beginner painting a much more exciting process…and then I can learn how to mix on my own! 😆

You mentioned issue you had with the honey water. I used distilled water and the honey and my bottle started getting moldy. Any tips on preventing this? I was hoping the dropper bottle would work but doesn’t. Thanks.

Hi Julie, I tried boiling the water and the jar but it still only lasted a couple of weeks. I guess we just have to mix a fresh batch when we need it.

If gouache is water reconstituted, what do you use to seal your work?

I spray with workable fixative very lightly
