What a neat process, Rachael! I love that we get to see all aspects of your Mary Magdalene concept from the point of creating a dress form for her fur costume. At minute 1:15 it looked just like a bowl of delicious mashed potatoes! Minute 3:45 I am thinking popcorn! Hehe

Thanks so much Dena! That's exactly what I'm going for. I want to show the entire thing and shine a light onto all of the hours of work, research, and resources that can go into a "simple" project like this. I am just asking this question. Is it wise to squeeze the excess water over the rest of the paper? You are just adding more water to it that has to be squeezed later. It would take a while. If it were me, I would take an extra bowl and squeeze the water into it.

Hi Rachael,, I was single framing thorough your latest video of the TP clay and saw your camera doing a lot of focus pulls, since you're staying in one place ( as you often do when ur working ) consider setting your camera to manual focus ( MF) and then focus the camera on anything that is in the plane of where you want the focus to be sharp ( hands/bowl, etc ) . If you use manual aperture control , then a larger number f-stop will give you greater depth of field so your manual focus plane will be deeper and more inclusive of your subject ( you ). I have had some focus pulls and attendant exposure changes ( indoor lights ) with my Canon and this completely fixed the problem. ( for steady frame videos with little or no panning and very little zooming.) Give it a try, and with just a bit of practice, you can get rid those pesky focus pulls. ~ Savanna ~ ( Ps I like this video..but you're pretty dark in this...hmmm )

Thanks for the feedback, Savanna! Noted for next time, I realized the problem during editing.
