Martin the quality of your tutorials just keeps getting better and better. Love that brand of tufts and bushes too. Are they reasonably priced? Maybe a good podcast idea too at great products for wargamers?

Thanks Paul, that means alot, I've been teying a few new ways to do things so to hear people like it is great. Tajima 1 are very reasonable i feel, they have a broad range and habe a good backing layer to mould over the base as needed.

Great video and very inspiring. Not really that confidant of my skills to mount a baseless figure or even pin one considering my shaking hands. Looks like this can be used equally well if you pre mount 'pudding based' figures as you put it. Slotta base might be challenging though sadly. Maybe convert to your method or premount on thin plastic bases. Great intro for AK here which I think I will invest in for some of my larger projects. Have you done any video on pinning and attaching figures to a base anywhere? I find your hints and tips to be very useful. Thanks for doing this video.
@7thson7262 жыл бұрын
Hi there, sorry for the slow reply. To be honest its easy enough to build up the texture around the pudding base if you want to. I tend not to but that's just the way i work. When it comes to cavalry i leave the bases on to support the horse 👍

I’ve been really impressed by your channel I started my own as a catalogue for my projects but yours is next level. Just wondering if you could give me some advice on how you make the videos, software music and do you script or plan? I really want to make my videos better.

Also you’ve now made me want to start Crusader army!!
@7thson7262 жыл бұрын
Thanks very much, inreally appreciate that. Making videos is a great way to keep track of everything. I edit my videos using Filmora (i find it fast and easy to use). You can find a few sites woth royalty free music but is best to check the license agreements as not all of them are legitimate. As for scripting, not really, i sometimes write down a few bullet points with key info in i want to cover as pointers 👍 i hope this helps
@eog0579 Жыл бұрын
Brilliant video, thank you! Could you explain how you base figures with bases integral to the figures like perry or warlord games? Do you cut them off their bases after painting and add them just like you did here or use a different technique? Thanks again.
@eog0579 Жыл бұрын
I've just discovered your other basing demos, sorry, I should have looked before asking the above question! 🙂
@7thson726 Жыл бұрын
Haha that's okay, i take them off with a razor saw or if they are more spread out I'll build them into the base 😁👍

Can I ask what size bases you use for your infantry and cavalry I like the idea of the red bat bases

What printer and resin do they use for the figures?
@7thson726 Жыл бұрын
I'm not entirely sure but if you check his FB page then he lists his specifications on there. Now I have my own I use a AnyCubic Photon Mono X 6K using Syriatech ABS like Resin 👍 hope that helps

Interesting that you leave the masking tape on the base, my OCD would demand it comes off. ;)
