You would probably be disappointed :) My sketchbook is a mess and often more words and scribbles than real sketches. I might do a brief one in a Q&A sometime.

Well a lot of what you do is design, so writing notes is important! I say the messier the sketchbook, the better! (but the q&a thing is a good idea)

Hey! This was really helpful, as an artist I've not used Animate (or Flash MX as it was when I used it) in such a long time, you reminded me about a few of the little things, as I was genuinely wanting to get into animation again for youtube but wasn't sure where to start, I couldn't remember the name of the tweens but that has taken me back, so hopefully I can get to work and make use of my graphic tablet :D

@Brad Colbow For your workflow, do you prefer using a Wacom tablet as opposed to something like a Cintiq? If it ran smoothly, would you prefer to do all of this on something like a Surface Book, so you could use the stylus on the screen? I admit that the Wacom tablets have a nuance that even the iPad Pro/Pencil can't get with. But there's that disconnect of looking at a screen while using a tablet below. Kinda like touch-typing for drawing. haha.
@thebradcolbow6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I do prefer to use a screen based tablet. It takes time getting used to the other ones but a lot of artists prefer the no-screen tablets. It comes down to personal preference.

I have worked with most of Adobe products, ie; Aftereffects, AI, PR. but not this one but when my son first show me the interface the first thing I noticed was the timeline was on the top. I said to my son you may want to move the time line to the bottom because AE and PR and most Apps have the timeline on the bottom. glad to see someone else did it. thebullyexposed.com
