this is probably one of your best videos because... of the leaf blower 🤭 but really because it shows how important the not-so-art stuff is for art too.

I very much appreciate how much work you've gone to to have a good video set up. It's very frustrating watching poorly lit videos or trying to hear people speak over poor sound systems. Online teaching is going to continue to be a part of life and it is an investment that teachers will have to make to get business. Thanks for explaining your set up.

Really interesting to see! And I’ve come to the conclusion (partly via DrawW/Me) that you guys actually “tip” the leaf blower to be there during filming…just for the ongoing humor! 😉…or not. Thanks Danny!

Fantastic ❤! I like to see work space set up - my take away is camera (s) or filming equipment. In January you appear in my online flow of interests & Skillshare, Adobe’s,… it feels like 2016-2017 flashback at me. I started my creative work space setup without completing - seeing this this morning was exactly what I needed . Thanks 😊

Wow, technical goals! I’m currently using a small bendy tripod wrapped around the top rail of a dining chair! Hahaha. Works fine for now, but I can easily imagine that I’d want to upgrade pretty fast if I was filming every day or if I wanted to start going live!

I just watched your video from 3 years ago on making tiny pictures (you were in your bird filled garden in AZ). I tried it, I am VERY new to art and will be 41 in less than 2 weeks. They actually turned out pretty decent. I'd love to send you a photo of them if there's a email address or somewhere I could send it. Thank you for your videos, and for the kind way you present things. ❤

What a great video, thank you! I appreciate your explanations and recommendations. Your rig is impressive! One thing you didn't mention, but have obviously sorted out, are the acoustics of the room itself. I saw you have a rug on the floor. And I'm guessing the books on the shelves behind you must help in keeping the sound waves from bouncing back. Do you have any other soft furnishings in the room? Listening to a warm and intimate sound is so much more appealing (soothing) than a voice recorded in an acoustically bright and echo-y space. To me, the latter comes across almost harsh. Thank you, again, in sharing your expertise. Just say "no" to wobbly webcams in poorly lit spaces! 😊
@SketchBookSkool10 ай бұрын
It's not a very large room, has wooden floors, and I have no issues with echo. And the mic is pretty close by.
