Something that is very useful to me is the two-minute rule. Any task that takes two minutes or less, just do them to get them out the way. And you’re thinking, studying doesn’t take two minutes, think of the steps. Like when I was studying for my AP a week ago, you use the two minute principle to small stuff. It takes less than two minutes to open your textbook. And then you do another task, like pulling out your notebook and having your pencil, at that point, you will have momentum, thus the motivation to do a task. Hope this helps, works for me. Like when I’m just on insta, I think, it takes less than minutes to sit at your table and pull out your textbook and pencil, and that really helps.

You basically sacrifice small return enjoyment for high return fun. That is something I want to implement more in my life Spend more money in what I really enjoy and little to none on what I enjoy just a little Reduce to closest to 0 possible low enjoyment stuff for really fun stuff I believe that is a really great way of living a life because it allows you to get ahead while being happy and still having a (most likely) low income need. Great video Anas!

Video summary: 1. Keep a short limited list of about three tasks to do each day. It might not seem like a lot day-to-day but it builds up overtime. You will be so much better in the long run. 2. Make studying your default thing to do. Not wasting time on mindless things will allow you to build-up the time saved as a "currency" which you can use to go-out with friends and attend events or do things that are actually meaningful to do.
@silver_04474 жыл бұрын

I think the second principle is quite interesting. In order to implement it, i think to we need to first identify what is our default task/project. Second, we need to make that task easily accesible, meaning it can be done anywhere, anytime. It can be done on your phone or iPad. So you don't have excuses not to go to your default. Again, thank you Anas for your tips.
