Honestly as a 47 year old woman and single for 2 years now after a relationship that lasted for 19 years i did not have any hope i would ever find someone new. But seeing you guys i kind of have a little hope back that i might find someone that will be good for me and that i can spend the rest of my life with. You were both not looking for a relationship and that's often when the magic happens right. I am not looking AT all. In fact i don't think i am ready yet and i have some more healing to do. I never comment on anything, but I felt compelled. There is almost 11 years between myself and my husband. As we are getting older and honestly it has made no difference. I do not think the age difference will effect the two of you in anyway. It has not been a challenge for us even as we are older now.

10 yrs is nothing! Now my 20 something daughter with her now 40 something yr old boyfriend (I have a hard time even calling him that) and the 2 decades between them act like it's nothing. But everyone knows, even the two of them that their's is trauma bonding! He's been married 5 times before and has 6 kids already! The oldest just happened to be her best friend in middle school which is how they met. He found himself alone after his last divorce, and her father, my late husband made the decision to abandon us from this world which has had obvious consequences on myself and each of my 3 girls who were still quite young, in differing ways as they all 3 have different personalities. She's the youngest and knew him the least which I think has caused her codependency issues since she started to become attracted to boys... or in her case, men. I forgot my point. But I suppose it was simply that it isn't the number of years but the spiritual healing you've done on yourself before jumping into something like a 20 yr age gap, knowing there are trauma and abandonment issues! If you are in alignment and spiritually and psychologically healthy I don't believe any age gap is too much or too little. But in my opinion... 10 yrs is within the same decade! Same music and TV shows and basic things you will have in common. You'll also have fun discovering the differences between your ages just as you do your cultures! So I'm not worried about the two of you whatsoever!! Just live your best life and don't worry about time. Bless you both and both of you and your families!! And how about that baby eh?
