You can either use a braid removal tool or the pointed end of a parting comb to help you remove your braids quickly. I have found them to be so helpful. Once my hair passed waist length it was really a chore to take down my braids. I'm always fascinated by differences in how different heads of hair react to products. My hair doesn't react well to coconut oil or shea butter. I will be brittle and frizzy if I use them. When God is in your life he's in all of it from the top of your head to the souls of your feet and all around you!. Absolutely nothing wrong with praying about the time needed to finish your hair.
@cameronchristina222 жыл бұрын
You know you can braid the majority of the section and then twist the rest down. This way it will take less time to unravel them and it still stretches your hair 🥰 works for me all the time!

I plan to post a video about product recommendations for natural hair - please stay tuned. In the meantime, definitely apply conditioner on wash day, water or leave in conditioner, oil and cream to your hair before combing. Also start combing from the ends of your hair to the roots. You may also finger detangle before you apply a comb. Hope this helps!

What do you recommend for an itchy scalp? I have low porosity hair but was told to not use sulfur 8 hair grease for my hair but it’s the only thing that helps with the itching.
@afuadedeotoo97803 жыл бұрын
If that is what helps your scalp use it but you will have to use a clarifying shampoo on wash days. African black soap is the best though. Drink a lot of water for internal hydration as well. Your hair and skin are a reflection of what you eat.
@MrsCharityUmar3 жыл бұрын
Itchy scalp may be caused different factors such as excessive products applied to scalp (oils and creams), allergic reaction to new products, lack of cleansing scalp on a regular basis. Do you fall into any of these categories?

Avoid tight hairstyles and pulling the hair back into styles like sleek pony tails - lessen tension put on edges. Moisturize edges regularly and apply deep conditioner to edges. If there’s loss of hair try applying pure castor oil - message it into the area at least three times a week for best results.
