High time i start including God in my hair journey. I love my natural hair. Thank you so much for this ❤. Love you

Yes, it is so important to include God not only in our hair care but in our lives in general. I know that I would not have been able to grow my hair long and wear it loose in a style that doesn't work for a lot of people if it had not been for prayer and being directed to a few ladies in the natural hair community who chose to wear a wash-n-go and also had long hair. My mom taught me how to care for my natural hair, and it was long but during the break between High School and College, I decided I wanted to relax my hair so it would be easier to care for or so I thought. It was not easier because I didn't understand relaxed hair, and I also hated the feel of my relaxed hair. Six months after the relaxer I cut my hip-length hair off to the new growth. To say that I prayed a lot over regrowing my hair is an understatement. Also, I wanted to grow it back and wear it loose, but I didn't know how to do that. Thankfully God directed me to a few channels of ladies who wore their hair loose and still had long hair so my journey to growing and wearing wash-n-go styling began. Now I have the choice to wear my hair loose or wear it in pinned-up styles. I enjoy wearing it loose most of the time.

Yes, including God in the process has been my secrete recipe😀 and am grateful to God and the resources (your channel too☺️) that has helped me grow my hair to this level. Like you rightly said, it always begins with trial and error and then finally finding a routine/product that works. Everything you said is correct. God bless you for sharing this🙏.

I noticed more fullness when i really stopped straightening my hair with a flat Iron. I was natural but i didn’t really take heat damage serious. I thought only relaxers damage hair. Once i stopped that for longer than 3 months, and using thicker natural products, less store bought unnatural products. That’s when my hair became thicker and fell out less.

Very encouraging video! I have only been fully natural again for a little over 2 years. Therefore I don’t have a clue as to how to style it, so I wear twist outs the majority of the time. I would leave it in the twists for about a week, then wear it in twist out for about 2 to 3 days before time to start the process again. My second challenge is knowing when to use protein. My hair is low porosity and gets protein overload quite easily. I look forward to your videos, they are always encouraging and God focused. May He continue to bless you and your channel grow by leaps and bounds. ❤️

Just use coconut oil and leave your hair alone after a good massage
@my1stlove130 Жыл бұрын
Low porosity hair doesn’t need alot of protein, you need a hydrolyzed protein which can penetrate your hair. Coconut oil is a BIG NO! I’m low in porosity too and I only use protein treatment before and after a a protective styles that includes added hair. My go to is APHOGEE 2 step, can never go wrong .

Does it ever get Overwhelming trying to section your hair, when you're washing it? To be Completely honest, I hate having to take a long time, doing my hair. My hair is actually mid length. It's about 2 inches past my shoulders. My arms ger tired while doing my hair and I think that this is what makes me get irritated when trying to maintain it. I'm just praying that I will gain a little more patience with it.☺️ Again, Thank you for the tips.
