I fed them with powder fish food and hard boiled egg yolk like some KZbin video suggestions but they’re still keep die everyday till now I’m very upset with that a lot and want them to survive .please tell me what did you feed your baby betta with?

No matter what fish you're talking about, if they decide to jump, only lady luck will find a way to stop them. I used to have problems with Black Swordtails jumping out on me. Not the Greens, or Reds.., just the Blacks. No matter what precautions I took to prevent that, one of them would always find a way. Your Macrostoma are beautiful. I've had a betta sorority of six with a decent sized gap in the back of the tank (Definitely big enough for them to jump through) and I've had no problems, I've never seen mine jump. maybe normal bettas don't jump as much as macrostomas but as long as you have a lid I wouldn't worry too much

One of my bettas (splendens) is a jumper. Every. Single. Meal. It makes the food scatter and I have to literally point it out to her. I keep the water level two inches lower than the top for her. My male is more of a lunger, and my other female does neither. She's more chill.

Can I leave the girls together in one tank, which has plants and a heater in 50ltrs of water, then seperate just the males into seperate homes. Then just keeping those males at temp. Love to hear your answers as you are the betta guru. Thanks from the land downunder

I've had my betta for close to 2 years or more!? I'm really bad with dates, and he never jumped out, i always have the lid open, i guess it's just luck, i have to leave it lid open because the condensation heats my tank too much, it gets close to 30° (and that because i never tried leaving it a full day closed) instead of the normal 26/27°. That because my home is floor heated and we cant control the heat so it gets kinda hot. I dont even think i need my heater but i leave it there so the water doesnt drop bellow 26°.

For wild bettas I think you need to have two males and one female sense the males carry the eggs 🥚. I think what the problem is that when your pair spawn the male carries the eggs and if the female wants to spawn again then the male has to eat the eggs to make room to spawn and sense you only have one male he has to eat the eggs to spawn with the female.

I've noticed that they look smaller but still have the white spot underneath, or not alot of bubbles?? Please help!!
@SimplyBetta5 жыл бұрын
Once wrapping starts, it usually ends without a big break. Although they might be at it for hours. It will be obvious when they're done because the nest will be full of eggs and the male will most likely have chased the female off and he will be aggressive to her
