Bro I'll only add this to the conversation: scheduling emails is everything to meeee not only can i email ppl at 3am if i want to and not let them know, by scheduling it to 9am, it also helps with feeling anxious about sending emails because you can edit it before it sends and yeah... Peace of mind
@nikkiu.21488 ай бұрын
Agreeed. Sometimes I be remembering to email ppl back at the oddest time. instead of telling myself I have to do it during "normal" hours and potentially forgetting by then, I can just do it in the moment and have one less thing floating in the back of my head
@michellehoehne8 ай бұрын
As a person who works a 9-5, that’s also a respectful way to honor their work hours. I have a position where people might feel anxious they have to respond immediately and scheduling send to their working hours means that I can help them not be dragged into work when they’re relaxing/eating/with family etc.

I just found out about you after your "why i don't post" video and you're quickly becoming one of my favorite creators. You have an actual no BS approach to work. I feel like other creators don't talk about the unglamorous hard work that has to be done but you dive right into and you don't come with the patronizing spiel like "oh I feel like I shouldn't complain because I'm so privileged".
@KB-bx9ui8 ай бұрын
Email tip...maybe you didn't show us Damon, and you have more than one email account. I have emails for different uses...one for spam advertising when you sign up for discounts, one for personal use, one for streaming services / subscriptions and another for professional use. Feels like a great way for me to compartmentalise and not feel inundated with useless emails. Plus, it feels better security wise. Anyone else like this? Damon....so glad you are uploading again.

FOR WINDOWS BBS: - We already have the drag for split screens - With touchscreens you can use different directional swipes to switch btwn apps and windows. You can also edit these functions (2 finger swipe v 3 finger, up v down, etc) - Edge also has tab groups and you can sort by color. My fav is Collections, where you can save pages to different lists (I use to sort things I want to come back to, travel for diff areas, even different wish lists & it’ll track prices for you) FOR ALL: - highly rec the Todoist app if you’re not Type A enough for setting up notion but you want separate to-do lists that can be sorted into projects/sections and given labels/dates/etc. Will also sync to desktop app

Thank you for the content! I appreciate that you brought up a State of Mind in the Health app (I'm ready to see my mental growth within the year, find an outlet that doesn't feel like an invasion of my privacy in some way, and not dump my grievances on my family and friends). Also, applications I use on my laptop are Rectangle, which helps with window management, which's a time-blocking calendar and to-do list; and Today (a blue background with a white checkmark in the middle) is a 24-hour to-do list and once the time you set for it is over, everything on the to-do list is gone - so it pushes you to prioritize what needs to get done for the day and in a timely fashion if it matters.

I have a list of so many things I want to accomplish - small things like read a book, try a new dish, apply for scholarships and big things like learn the piano, finish this academic competition, become an active member of my local urbanism society. This comes at the perfect time, where I've written all this down but don't know how to organize it. I am always so scared when using Google calendar but seeing how you do it helps infinitely.
