How I Organize my Small Seed Collection

I am so excited to share this idea of seed storage with you. It is an efficient method where it is easy to maintain, all seeds are visible and it can be categorised meaningfully. Hope you like it!

Thanks for taking the time to go through this seed storing system. I have two of the photo storage boxes but it is not really working for me. Please give us an update at the end of the sowing season on how you feel it went for you. I live in Sydney, Australia and the transition for my seedlings to the garden can be harsh in summer. It’s going to be unusually hot, 40 degrees today so went out and had all my ripe strawberries for breakfast before I lost them to the heat. 😊

It’s a coincidence that I also just started storing my seeds first in a small wooden box that I had got with tea packet. But now my craze is increased and I hv got more seeds. So now I store them in Amazon small carton.

This is a great idea to organise seeds. If i were you, i would use coloured single sheet dividers, as the sticky labels can fall off. My seeds are all in their bags, and all the bags in one fabric shopping bag. 😅 So i will do the same as you in the next days. 👍 I just have them arranged to season. Thought i am currently trying to figure out which part of the season they do best as they are not made for my exact climate. Any information on the package seems to be off. 😓 But it’s all part of the gardening, not much enjoying the hunt of figuring this out, but it must be done. 🙂

That's very nice and I can tell you like it a lot. I use a plastic shoe box with little card board sections, and a small plastic carrier that closes & has a handle. Happy Spring gardening!🌱🌻🍃🍅
