Lack of organization is usually what stops most projects in their tracks. Just got my physical copy of Revenge of the Druid Queen in the mail! Looking forward to diving in!

Brainstorming session turning into messy wiki pages, I can relate! I have to ask myself, do I need this info for my project or am I saving some idea for a possible future idea. I am having fun (sort of) with Obsidian + GPT and Perplexity, it can also be a distraction.

Ya, I am a chaotic organizer. Lol. I think the only thing I have organized is the made up languages I made up for my books… and for the important characters. Rest tend to be scattered across the winds, which is what caused some of my issues when I sent a file for my audiobook, sent my pre final edit copy by mistake… and I can tell you it is a hassle. Anyone whom is starting, be organized as much as possible, your wallet will thank you for it.

@@SydneyFaithAuthor lol ya, fixing a mistake is expensive. Cause when I updated my files for a 2nd edition I did it to Ingram and to the audiobook people at the same time. So it was up for 2 months, I had ordered a bunch of copies to sell at a bazaar, then I got a sample read from the voice talent and went “ah crap I sent the pre proof edit copy.” Cause I labeled the file to send to my editor “send this 1” and the file with it finished “send this 1” so ya lol. $200 fix. Well, at least the 2nd book is selling well lol. I think my first novel is cursed cause after I listen to the audiobook, except for the 1 edit I missed, everything is grammatically correct…but word choices lol. So I will have to go back to it later in the future. Maybe when I done with the series and do a box set.
