THANK YOU for this much needed video. I travel a lot to/through UK airports and they're quite unhinged about liquids. I once had to throw out a full container of cleansing balm BC while I thought it wouldn't be considered a liquid BC it's a solid, the security dude was convinced that it was a liquid purely because of the word balm in the product name. It was wild 😂

I also travel with just hand luggage. My travel hack is to hoard products in mini sized (preferably 10 ml) glass packaging. Even if I don't like the product itself. Glass is suitable for any product so I refill these bottles with my regular skin care when travelling. I have atopic dermatitis and it can be tricky to find suitable products in a foreign country. I want to make sure I have everything I can possibly need with me.

I really like the Bolt Beauty cleansing pods and moisturisers for travelling because they're so small and single use and environmentally friendly, I can bring exactly the right amount for the trip. It's so light and easy to use whereever I am, I definitely recommend it.

Contact lens cases work great for everything but watery liquids. I even have one for toothpaste and they take up almost no room.

Thank youuuu. Absolutely agree that London Heathrow is super strict w liquids. Last time I went through, I had bought a bunch of sunscreens and left them in my carryon. Almost had to throw them all away 😭

When I had a stop in London i was devastated because they made me throw some of my stuff away 😩.but I also over packed haha! So note to self don't have a stop in london lol. I also have that retinol cream from mexico. It has lasted me a while

when I travel now, I buy $1 travel size moisturizer (small bottle shape container with a screw on lid), empty them and fill them up with the usual stuff I use.

I like nivea their invisible and the silver ions one are great but I won't buy any of their products any more since they promote skin bleaching in countries with skin of colour and the have had homophobic controversy from the executive team. I like the Aldi lacura brand roll on deodorant they are also invisible on black fabric the male ones smell great but their is a female one called fresh in a aqua blue green lid and it just smells clean to me so is very unigender
