I have 2 different day tour backpacks that fold up into its own pocket, super lightweight and used the heck out of it on our trip to Yellowstone and from there we went to Banff, Canada. I agree, I don’t take my fave Tiffany sunglasses, but a cheap pair from Target. I also use bar soap and shampoo and I have toothpaste tablets so another thing that doesn’t need to go in my liquids bag. At the Bozeman, MT airport we we’re going to buy bear spray and the cashier gave us each a can and said if you don’t use it, just return it and never charged us…she was sooo nice! In Yellowstone hiking up the Gallatin river, we wished we’d brought bug spray. Great video!

You are so amazing. What stores do you do your grocery shopping at? Do you stock up on water? Can you possibly do some in store grocery shopping videos? I think it would be awesome if you could show how you do your full shopping trip

I can pack a backpack but unfortunately hsve to take a lot of meds plus if winter need a whole lot extra ..last time ended up just leaving a suitacse equivalent of clothes behind .. just way it is! I buy a weightless plastic Amazn backpack which also folds down and pack everything in that. I have to take ltop so it ends up v heavy for me as asthmatic but am determined not to take a check in anything anymore after last bag got lost a total of 4 times last time and was returned by a fluke but cost me time and a lot of extra money. I take a packable rain jacket also so useful and great ... and a collapsable water bottle too...love makeup but just take basics and bars of most .. hardly anliquids and toothpaste powder! ❤❤ just invested in compression cubes on amazon sale bfore used ordinary ones..

Which city in Asia do you recommend for a first time solo traveler? I want to go someone for a few weeks just to see how I get on.

I'd maybe recommend singapore?? There are so many great countries with lots to do, but what sets Singapore apart is the fact that everyone speaks English, which is super helpful if it's your very first time! Then once you're comfortable, you'll be much more confident and knowledgeable about solo travelling the other Asian countries where English is somewhat less common

I would recommend Bangkok & Chiang Mai, Thailand! So many fun excursions , tons of travelers, and great hostel options that can help guide your trip

I've never been to Singapore but sounds like a dream! Definitely planning on it for my next Asia trip.

How does this video has so little views? Journal and reading material are also non negotiable items for me (:
